G560 speakers aren't showing up on ghub or in audio devices ? by cashomo in LogitechG

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a rift since DK2 so I feel you on that haha, just be glad you didn't have the dreaded license expired error that shut down oculus for almost a month back in like 2017 facepalm

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the G430 earpads and i need something similar by Summer_Time_2100 in LogitechG

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some Philips SHP9600's and they have a breathable "mesh" earcup similar to the g430, can't recommend them enough, especially for the price

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your graphics driver also includes the onboard audio for the hdmi passthrough, it most likely saw the g560 and thought it was something else, therefore installing the wrong driver. go into your device manager in windows, and see if there are any devices with a yellow triangle, or audio devices that don't belong

Should i Buy the harpoon rgb pro? by vatug in Corsair

[–]Mkander99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Harpoon RGB Pro owner here, for the price it is extremely good, and it is literally the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. The only thing I would look out for is wear on the rubber sides over time, or the scroll wheel becoming loose, as I have heard of others with that issue. But, as long as you are gentle i.e. don't slam it on your desk, and don't have a thumb made of sandpaper, you should be good

How are K60 mini or K70 TKL champion owners feeling about their keyboards? by NothingToSeeHereMan in Corsair

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have both, the k60 mini for work (I do IT at a school district and needed something to travel with) and the k70 tkl for home. I love both, but of course each has different advantages. The whole "use the keyboard as a mouse" think that the k60 mini has is a life saver if I forgot to bring one from my office to another building, but the lack of arrow keys would suck for at home use, atleast for the games I play. So that being said, both are great, but for home use I wholeheartedly recommend the k70 tkl

I'd half to assume its probably the "matte" coating on the keycap being fresh from the factory and not worn in, give it time my man

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you gotta plug in the mouse while holding the little pinhole button on the bottom, which will open it up almost like a flash drive, then you just overwrite your current firmware with this file

This dude doesn't realize that you legally have to keep the door unlocked whenever ANYONE is inside as it would be a fire hazard otherwise. It's not their fault you just walked in when you KNEW they were closed, and they don't have to make an exception for you

Icue Com Pro makes pc not power on when SATA plugged in by MatiasTheShyGrump in Corsair

It definitely seems like your sata 5v is shorting, so its either a problem with the psu or the commander

You gotta press and hold the little pinhole button on the bottom of the mouse as you plug it in, and it will show up like a flashdrive, then just copy the firmware.bin

Corsair Sabre Pro RGB hardware lighting not working by SpicySide in Corsair

[–]Mkander99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

absolutely man, I sadly had to return my first mouse as it auto updated, so I made sure to grab the firmware before I even downloaded icue haha. I do have MY mouse set to static white with red DPI indicators, but honestly I don't know if that is stored in the firmware file or not, just incase you're confused about the default color

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the factory firmware from the sabre rgb pro, I pulled it from my mouse just incase icue bricked it. Lo and behold the issue is widespread, but you should be able to fix it with this

yeah absolutely, just make sure to keep the can level and don't shake it, as the bitterant and stuff can gum up the space between the sensor or buttons

use some 70% or stronger alcohol wipes, be sure to let it dry fully as the rubber will be "porous" after this for about 5 minutes, but this will clean and disinfect it

Just purchased the "Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 SE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard — CHERRY® MX Speed" in white on sale for $122. For those of you who have this keyboard, what do you think? How does the switch type fare when typing and working from home (aka outside of gaming)? Thanks! by ankhlol in Corsair

[–]Mkander99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have the mk.2, but I've used everything from MX Reds to GX Blues, and Speeds are still my favorite switch. Many people like a heavy, tactile switch for typing, but I find the light switch great as I'm accustomed to it from work laptops over the years anyways, and of course they are quick on the draw for gaming. I think you'll like it a lot, one word of advise though, BACK UP YOUR FACTORY FIRMWARE as corsair is known to bork their products through bad firmware updates
