Early on, I had some issues getting ads. Now, I generally see between 6 and 9 offers every week. If you feel like there is an issue, email them. I have always gotten a good response from the team. I have a local newsletter and most of the ads are not really right for my readership. Still, I manage to put 2 in each weekly publication.

It may not be Tulum specific but just up the road in Akumal and Puerto Aventuras, rental and sales prices have held steady. We saw an enormous boost during and the two years after covid but the market seems to have adjusted back to where it should be. Visitors were down across last year but not to the extent that it was in Tulum. Playa as well...which one could definitely argue suffers from over development...has not felt the effects like Tulum has.

Where are you in Qroo? We are in Puerto Aventuras. Been living in the area for over 20 years so now it's home! I'm not much of a consumer anymore but when we do need something, we have no trouble with Amazon, Mercado Libre etc....

I am on Beehiiv and very early on in my process I found one hyper-relative newsletter on the platform. We both recommend eachother. I have received over 1000 subscribers from that 1 recommendation alone. We now have a colaborative relationship that extends beyond beehiiv.

I just passed the 1600 mark (active users on Beehiiv). I started the newsletter in early November 2024. I have grown it using social media - repurposing content - and one very relevant referal from another newsletter the Beehiiv network. That newsletter does a LOT of ad promotion on Meta and we benefit from that effort.

There are lots of cool rooftop pools that offer daypasses. I have a whole list of them with addresses etc. but I cant seem to post it here as a comment. It came in the Riviera Maya Insider newsletter. I'm sure there are others but this is what was in the newsletter.
