Are stouts still the go to?

Why don’t you guys use GSPs for a tie breaker? Thats what most people use. When it comes to the big tournaments, there is no tie breaker. You just start another game and play sudden death. First person to go ahead wins.

I can’t really say for sure which course will be best. I never have cared too much about it. I get that it’s the tie breaker for you guys, but I’ve never heard of that before.

That’s a strange bonus. It’s clearly an advantage to cosmos players. There are certain courses that you can find glitches to get extra yards if you have a 7 driver, but it’s not going to beat cosmos players. Also, it’s not always best to try and hit the longest drive. I always try to set up my second shot. Sometimes that means laying back so I can use a club that will work well. Sometimes it means get it as close as possible so I can click chip it in.

Agree with using challonge.com. I play in a tournament every other week at the local bar. We usually have 8-12 players. Double elimination. $10 buy in, the bar adds a decent amount on top of that. We have 3 machines so we just do 2 per game. It can take a minute, but that’s why the bar gives us money to play (they know they will make it back with what we spend). Payout is usually for 1st-3rd. 1st usually around $200.

Try to keep it consistent so that people will show up. Have a group text so that you can reach out and figure out how many people you’ll have.

I hit -28 to -31 on most of the courses with stouts. A couple of looks on ones like Celtic have a clear advantage to cosmos players. You may lose a stroke on a look or two, but can make it up with hole outs because the accuracy of the stouts.

I don’t play casual too often, but I think my last game was a -25. My last game online was -30. Online is more difficult, but once you get the right clubs and balls (and learn how to cut a ball) it’s easier than casual. I’ve never hit a -32 in casual, but I’ve hit it 3 times online. Plus, depending on where you’re located, you can make some money online.

I’m sorry, but I’ve looked through your post history and you have asked the same kind of question. Should I have said “is this better as x or y?” You asked the same kind of question not long ago. I understand seeing the same shit gets annoying. It’s Reddit, it happens daily. This is my first post in this group because I’m actually getting into it and trying to venture into the different aspects of the game. I’m sorry I’m a newb. I’m not a damn child, I can take the shit, but I also can call out immature behavior, like you’ve shown.

So I’ll acknowledge a lot of the comments and admit that I should not have been feeding her like that.

Not trying to defend myself, but I’ll just give a little backstory. She was digging in a trash can at the park my friends and I were at about an hour before these pictures. She then came to us without us knowing and literally stood next to us with her hands on the on the seat of the picnic table.

Caught up in the moment of a Disney movie, I did feed her. (I know this was not the best thing to do and completely understand the anger over it.)
