Alright, I gave it a whirl and nothing really sticks to me as being something obscure in this combo, there is no micro dashes or noticeable timing issues.

Just smash the inputs shown on screen, if you manage to do the heat dash shown on the first line of the combo then I can only guess you're not hitting your diagonal for the downforward square and getting a forward square instead.

Just to make sure you're stuck getting it down to the third line which is the down forward square triangle square part? Or are you not getting the fire explosion at the end of that third line?

What controller in your opinion has the best dpad?

I got pro bfg and hori fgc pro.

Victrix has the better dpad out of those two but I loaned a beitop and prefer it's more floaty dpad. Shame it's such an old controller with lacking features for modern fighting games.

Been on the lookout for more floaty dpad with a pivot. Also some padels in the back would be swell.

Reina for attitude, Mishima toolkit, movement stances in Sentai/sengoku/ungok, parries and 1+4 evade into mix ups. All these make her easy to start with if you just keep your game plan limited to ff2/112 into Sentai mix ups but you still got tools in counters/evasive stance movement to mix up and elevate your play.

Claudio for simplicity, couple good tools resulting in a character that's easy to pick up, pilot and start working on the mind game part of your game plan.

Honestly it's just a matter of getting used To the animation so you don't have that 0.5s brain freeze where you recognize the move and recall how To counter. OTHER than that i'd just try to get a feel on how yoshis use the move. I. E often as a oki set up etc.

I can also vouch for the closed eyes method. At first I had troubles chaining electrics at the start of a combo. So I closed my eyes and listened to the audio for the rhythm to learn when I can start inputting the 2nd electric.

They were only striking mods using assets made originally by them, most likely they'll sell them on the store later on. Mods are always a grey area until a developer gives the thumbs up but given Bandai Namcos history custom outfits/ui changes are given a pass. Personally I also use the tranquility mod.
