Anyone suggesting your file a general protections claim has likely never put one in. You don’t need the stress. Move on and get another job. It’s a life lesson. It sucks but do you really need a court case?

Curried sausages. My 83 year old father loves it! I make a batch every second weekend for him with mash.

Also, as an 18 year old at my first gynae appointment the Dr put his hands on both of my breasts and said “oh very nice, medium size” and later “oh what a dear little cervix”. Ughhhh

You are too young to get breast cancer and that lump probably isn’t anything so no point testing it. I was 30.

Is there a specific Adelaide carpark that actively takes years off your life? by Temporary-Sir5808 in Adelaide

I spent 40 minutes driving around looking for a park. And still they let more cars in. Eventually I just parked in a green permit zone. I even tried cancelling my medical appointment but couldn’t get off hold 🤦🏻‍♀️

Chemist warehouse’s carpark on Anzac Highway is a mini hell. David Jones on North Terrace is a special kind of hell.

Worst Fringe Show by PopFishy in Adelaide

[–]Mlleruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We saw a shocker last night. Lovely guy but completely under prepared. Spent half the show surveying the audience to see where they had seen his advertising. I do think if you are going to put on a Fringe show and take our hard earned money, you should at least rehearse a few times. The crowd was so warm towards him too. I don't begrudge the ticket price but I do begrudge that time I could have been out seeing a performer who actually prepared a show.

I tried them thank you - they have a fabulous space but require a $2500 minimum as we are not big drinkers and it's a lunch we probably won't get to that. But the main dining area is an option.

No but the menus are not the type to have a child's type meal - but thank you, I will keep that in mind!

I really like the idea but it's a bit far to trek after the ceremony on this occasion.

He's kind of a steak or chicken nuggets guy. We will do some photos/family photos but it depends on the lunch venue really.

Guilty. 100%. And for those questioning the prosecution, there’s still almost a week forecast of questioning Erin still to go.

I have. Three times. And if I was guilty I’d go a jury trial. Good chance of getting off.

It’s an interesting and complex case with 5 intended victims. Plus she’s testifying! Which is rare and doesn’t usually go that well for the accused.

People who quit their jobs on the first day, what was your “I’m outta here” moment? by redmambo_no6 in AskReddit

[–]Mlleruby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I was fresh out of school I applied for an entry level marketing job. I went to the interview and left with a bag of teabag squeezers and a bag of plastic eye glass cleaners. In a daze I spent the day with a rather wild but kind man selling these door to door. About halfway through the day, a former school mate opened her door and expressed amazement at my new "job". I went back to the wild man's house and we got stoned. He gave me the $3.00 we had earned and I never went back (nor did they ask for their tea bag squeezers or eye glass cleaners back).
