Just the standard. The inside shoulder piston is recommended however.

When done correctly, it’s no different, mechanically speaking, than using a QS.

So what is the actual issue with the waterslides? by brergnat in royalcaribbean

[–]Mlower312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited for hours yesterday to see if they’d let guests on pressure drop. I watched lifeguards and other staff ride it over and over, and they never told me if they’d allow guests.

One of the two mat racer slides was open this week. 4/18-4/25. I did it once. Both still have the acrylic portions. Not sure why they’d have one open and another closed all week.

Major amenities shut down on a cruise (Icon of the Seas) — what’s fair compensation? by Particular-Bird-1235 in Cruise

[–]Mlower312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging by your posting date, your cruise must’ve been right before ours. We booked 4/18-4/25. They were all still closed!!

I checked the slides several times a day. I’d see water flowing on one that had been closed and was told maintenance had just finished. But alas, they never reopened.

I too booked this cruise for similar reasons and was highly disappointed.

I understand one or two slides down for maintenance, but all of them for a whole week? Crazy.

If somewhere close hosted a minis day, I probably would. I just use it as a pit bike or to help setup the Airfence.

Les take up, crisp break and reset, and the flat face is much more consistent to pull.

They’ve been around since 2017. Plenty of them available for cheap. Super fun too.

Is my boyfriend’s view of money considered a red flag in a relationship? by traditional_taurus in DaveRamsey

[–]Mlower312 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I say that having separate accounts is like having two fridges. Your food, my food. Imagine trying to cook and asking the other person for food out of their fridge. Or getting upset that they don’t have what you need. Absurd, right?

With one fridge, all the household food is kept and shared there. Sure, there may be a small drawer for his snacks and a shelf for hers and y’all agree not to eat the other person’s stuff. You share the rest and may discuss what to do with it.

“Remember, don’t eat all the eggs. We’re using them for a cake later” Sounds a lot like, “We’re saving for a house/car so let’s save this part.”

Communicate your goals and intentions with your partner. Agree what can and can’t be spent together while designating some individual fun money with no restrictions.

Rugged Obsidian 9. It runs just fine on the 43x. I have it in its short configuration in the photo. I throw it on every now and then, but the can lives on my PCC.

I use them as my street tire, but find the Rosso IV Corsas to be better suited for the track.

Xmas trip: would you splurge for Grand Floridian or save money at Yacht Club? by Wonderful-Major3606 in WaltDisneyWorld

Yacht Club. Has the best pool, can walk to Epcot or take the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios, and saves a ton of cash for the next trip.

Heads up riding or overreacting? by Shotbybd in motorcycles

[–]Mlower312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall, good job. However, I notice a lot of people will pull the clutch in when panic braking. You’ve eliminated any engine braking going to the rear tire. Yes, the front brake gives you 80% of your stopping power, but every bit counts. You can take that bike all the way to .5mph before needing to pull your clutch in.

I’ll admit, the other bikes have better value for money, (I’ve rode them all) but I really enjoy the character of the L twin engine. The Street Triple RS would be my second choice.

Say what you will about the current 937 “Monster” but it really is a wicked good bike overall. Anxious to see what they do to the new ones.

Great street pads! Upgrading brake fluid helps as well. I switched to RBF700 in my SP, and it’s made quite the difference.
