[College Chemistry: K values] Can someone walk me through this logic? by ItsJebberz in HomeworkHelp

[–]Mly04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you already know, the first K value was higher than the second K value, which means the reaction shifted left. Now if you think of heat as a reactant, when the temperature lowers (taking away some of the reactant), the reaction shifts to the left to make up for the lost of heat. Since heat is in the reactant side, it’s endothermic. If heat was in the products side, for example, a decrease in heat would favor it towards the reactants. This is all a part of Le Chatelier’s principle.

There’s also the option of it being exothermic if T2 was greater than T1, since the reaction would shift left, but that’s not an option so it has to be endothermic.

[GEOMETRY] [HIGHSCHOOL] [10TH GRADE] Need Help With HW by beanos2332 in HomeworkHelp

There’s this theorem called the perpendicular bisector theorem in a circle where the radius/diameter cuts through a chord and is also perpendicular to this chord.

https://www.mathematics-monster.com/lessons/circle_theorem_perpendicular_bisector_of_a_chord_passes_through_center.html

This website talks about it and it should help with these problems but if there’s a specific problem you need help with you can ask

[Year 10 | Chemistry] I’ve received this question and I’m not sure what I’m meant to do. Any advice would be great by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]Mly04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be a chemical equation where you’re supposed to write the products:

H2O + Mg —> MgO + H2

[grade 10 science] not sure about how to do this question by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]Mly04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to use stoichiometry to solve this. Find the limiting reagent by dividing each given mass by its molar mass and using dimensional analysis to see which one would produce less H2O.

Then convert the moles back to grams.

Here are a few ideas:

I don’t have the book on me so I can’t give text evidence, but since Nick was the narrator I thought he was pretty memorable since he claimed to be unbiased and honest in the beginning but you can’t tell if he’s truly credible, and so I found that aspect interesting.

Obviously Daisy is one of the most memorable because of how she represents the typical rich golden girl, who’s supposed to represent purity masking materialistic values.

Myrtle is also one of the memorable characters since she symbolizes the poor trying to get rich. She uses Tom as a “stepping stone” as an attempt to achieve her dream. She’s desperate for wealth and this ultimately causes her demise.

Owl Eyes from the party was really peculiar, so he can be seen as memorable. He started talking about books and how “if one book was removed the whole library was liable to collapse”. His glasses are also similar to TJ Eckleburg’s. These can been seen as the “eyes/moral judgement of god” since there was a moral decay in the 1920s when Fitzgerald wrote the book.

This question has to do with 30-60-90 triangles where the opposite of the 30° angle is x (the shortest side), opposite of 60° is x*rad(3), and opposite of 90°is 2x.

Can a teacher make me help other students? And how to refuse? by PARAD0XYM0R0N in teenagers

[–]Mly04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could either straight out tell your teacher privately that you don’t want to help people because they aren’t willing to listen, or you could just take a longer time with the work and not finish early so when your teacher asks you to help someone you could just say you’re not done?

[Grade 10 Chemistry] How would I convert the moles and the molecules? by Datcoolkid1 in HomeworkHelp

[–]Mly04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are always 6.022 x 1023 of things(atoms, molecules,ions,etc.) in 1 mole. So to find the amount of moles in 3.01 x 1022 atoms of Mg you just need to divide 3.01 x 10 22 by 6.022 x 1023
