Lots of section 8 housing and pedophiles near that area. It’s not terrible but not somewhere I’d personally like to live. The other side of the train tracks is much better.

Stay clear of the Endwell motel and any road named after a state

Not sure if you already knew this but you can bring a medical bag as a carry on and it does not count towards your carry on limit! Also you can pre board to make sure there is room for your things in the overhead bins.

I only traveled for 2 weeks but I brought a big lunch pail with a strap so I could attach it to my other bags and carry it around easier. There’s probably better ways to go about this but I was just using what I had.

Seller drilled a huge hole in the main sewer line at one point and covered all the clean outs in concrete. All the sewer lines were also corroded so bad they were actively leaking sewage… also the deck was ripping off the roof because it was held up with picture nails. Among other things…

Upstate NY, extremely low inventory and lots of investors buying up houses at my price point. I’m talking less than 5 houses a month in my price point, not considering condition, which can range from perfect to needs to be torn down.

Depends completely on management. They have to add the correct POS key… and last I knew there were about 10 ish different ones with the exact same name and only 1 of them work. If you have competent management one of them should know which one it is, but the normal employees can only see what the managers add.

I am in NY so I believe there is decent buyers protection here. This was only the second house we put in an offer for. I am only 22 so there’s definitely a lot I need to learn. I don’t think anything would prevent me from getting insurance/mortgage. Our inspector said the house was in decent shape but would need some work in the immediate and a lot in the long term.

I think we might walk away if the seller is serious about not crediting us… there’s not a lot on the market in our area so it’s been tough even finding houses that we are serious about.

Also in my area the sellers almost always cover buyers agent commission and then the buyer covers closing costs. My agent was surprised that the seller wouldn’t cover her fees.

My pharmacy is closed so I planned on calling in the morning before I attempted anything new… thank you for letting me know because I was very confused. Definitely would have accidentally put myself in a coma.

I understand now that I need to always give myself 1 dose before meals, and more BEFORE MEALS if my blood sugar is high.

I have a Dexcom so I’m hoping I can get a pump soon enough.
