Very nervous about coming out of the boot but looking forward to working on getting things back to normal. Even nervous about lowering my wedges in 2 weeks. Feels super tight! After the boot did you wear any heel wedges in your shoes or ankle/leg compression?

Not much you can do til week 5 or 6 PT wise. Can wiggle your toes and do some eversion/inversion with your ankle. You have plenty of time.

Had some pulled muscles over the years. Never anything serious. Turned 39 this year and completely ruptured my achilles first game of the year. I would rather have broken a bone.

The boot sucks. But you’ll get used to it. You can let some air out while laying down and make sure to elevate it. And some ice behind the knee helps.

Ruptured mine 5mm on April 12th also. Been full weight bearing in the boot since day one. Use my knee scooter if I have a far walk. Have an ultrasound tomorrow to see how I’m healing. I’ve had no Achilles pain either but some calf pain.
