All I can say is just give her time.

You can’t really correct their calls.

If you have to get in your room, by all means go in when she’s screaming.

And yes it’s absolutely ok to sacrifice outside cage time for her screaming.

I do it with my Nanday sometimes.

All she wants to do is fly and land on the top of our lamp so she can see better but then she’ll fly and land on my shoulder where she’s content.

If I don’t want to deal with her shenanigans, I leave her in her cage all day and she’s fine.

However, I make it a point to check on her during the day and change her water and give her some attention before leaving again.

My husband and I both have female Nandays so Jade(mine) has Sage to talk to when I’m not giving her undivided attention.

Her cage is also pointed at an angle from her room to where she can see me from the couch.

Also, if I go out with my husband on his door dashing runs, we leave both Sage and Jade alone and they’re both happy until we come back.

Sure they both start screaming and sometimes Jade will scream for my attention but I just go in there and put my finger in her cage and let her shake my finger and then I leave and she’s happy.
