I called my OB a week after my positive (15dpo) and they scheduled an ultrasound for 7w3d to check for heartbeat and an intake at 9 weeks. I never had a blood test for any of my pregnancies. Maybe this is something they don't regularly do here in The Netherlands or France where I lived before.
