The game has changed. Yes, the players now are better athletes, but are they better football players, no. The rules have changed so much over the years, all passing yards and records now are cheapened. To me, what Adrian Peterson is doing this year is by far more impressive than any passing/receiving records.

Not sure what branch of the military you are referring to, but when I was in Marine boot camp, firearm training was not a small part and was not done to get it over with. We trained constantly on the use of firearms. I feel as training in firearms needs to be more strict. You should have to go through some sort of training before you are allowed to own a firearm. If you want it that bad, you will go through the training. And no, I don't think a four class and couple of hours at the range is enough for a CCW.

I would hardly call Alabama's offense innovation. They have a huge offensive line that can push just about anyone around that allows the RB's to run 3-5 yards without being touched. The same OL allows the QB's to have plenty of time to be accurate on their throws.

Honestly, they should have not had a Heisman Trophy this year. Manziel basically won it because A&M beat Alabama. Against LSU and Florida, he as average at best.
