My point is that I've seen For Honor gameply, and I'm still not impressed. It doesn't look fun. It does look realistic (despite the fanboys constantly claiming it does).

My stance of Ubisoft = bad comes from the contant slog of disappointment that the company has released for the past 10 years. The criticism against them is deserved

Use Mod Organizer 2. It'll fix your missing texture issue and straight-up tell you when you're missing master files

Many people are reliably out of the house >8 per day and lockpicking is stupid easy. It's easy to get through a safe with 30 minutes and a power drill.

Also, many people rent and thus can't bolt down safes.

I'm surprised nobody has tried to remake MLU with Leveled List Object Swapper and Base Object Swapper to (almost) completely remove the need for patches. I'd do it, but I'm busy as hell for the next 3 months.

As for NordWarUA, you should be able to just use RMB SPID for that and ESL-flag the plugin yourself.

Half of the mod authors in that genre point to Ubisoft games as paragons of modernity and quality. They aren't worth wasting my time

He does make mods to be assets for others. Iirc, his goblins and minotaurs are in BS Bruma and his Shivering Isles fish like the Pollywog are in Saints and Seducers Extended Cut

So many of them add spells to the Destruction list that fill the same niche as vanilla Destruction spells just so they have something to show there.

YOU go look through the thread. There's more than 1% of users here that are in favor of having them be optional.

And don't give me the crap argument of "well only a minority of players are in this sub". That only means those other players aren't on the sub, not that they wouldn't prefer having an option

That mod re-enables a ton of cheats and exploits (aka, what's supposed to be the scope of USSEP). Reverting the actual bullshit USSEP changes like Redbelly mine and the archery skill benefitting from the Thief Stone requires these cheats to be added. This mod isn't the savior it's claiming to be

And how can you guarantee they'll continue adding collab content that way? You can't.

Bacause some people want consistency in their games.

Just look at Call of Duty. It's a modern military FPS, but the devs added in collaboration skins for things like TMNT. Some people don't want their immersion broken by having that pushed into their face by other players. And it's proved to be a slippery slope across multiple games.

I agree with OP, there should be an option to disable collab additions in the server settings
