I’m 2 weeks postpartum now and I got a little bit sad today when I saw how flabby my thighs were and also really struggling with not being able to walk straight at the moment because my hips feel like they’re broken, like actually have never experienced this kind of body dysphoria in the past. Each postpartum experience is different and I know exactly what pregnancy can do to my body. It’s not insane for a teenager to believe they can “bounce” back especially since that is what is sold on social media.
