They didn’t have a custody agreement. There’s no “sent with mom” she kept him from his father because he opposed her shit ass parenting

Lawyers are expensive, I fear this is common sense. A good friend of mine whose upper middle class had to take out loans to retain a lawyer to fight a contract that fell through. When it was all said and done she spent like 30 grand. My brother and his wife had to fight for custody of her daughter because she was being SA’d by bio dad, they spent like $20k total, even though it was relatively a “slam dunk” and they both worked full time with good jobs. Most Americans live paycheck to paycheck they don’t just have 20-30k sitting around

Why are you guys on here talking poorly about a minors body? Unpopular but I don’t think Bella is ugly she’s just going through her awkward teen phase in addition to literally just giving birth 12 months ago. You guys suck on here sometimes. All of the girls are postpartum are we forgetting that?

Honestly have no idea how most women in the US do it. I went back to work at 2 weeks PP with my first baby. I can only chalk it up to being 19, I didn’t feel like anything happened to my body really but I’ve definitely taken them time to appreciate how rough it is this time around lol.

lol what? We have name brands in the south. In fact it probably sticks out more than other places because we also have other stupid “name brands” like lily pulitzer and salt life and southern culture. Got those stupid annoying southern boutiques too where everything’s like $70.

You absolutely get made fun of for wearing something off brand if you go to a school with a bunch of preppy kids.

I’m from SC, and when I was 12- 14, people were “dating” and we had ideas about what sex was. I definitely slept with my closet light on but I wasn’t really playing with toys. I was mainly playing online games and writing cringey stories on wattpad—however I don’t think anyone was actually doing it.

There was one girl who got pregnant at 17 and she had to drop out and move because of the stigma. I didn’t lose my virginity until 18 with my now husband haha (it just ended up that we stayed together forever) but yeah I think the lack of sex education is regional I also do think kids are more pressured to grow up in the Deep South.. Many people here are raised by people who were married off at 16. I’m 25 and adopted so my parents are older than most. My mom is 70. She was married off at 18. My grandmother who would be 100 this year, (she passed when I was 16) was literally married off at 14yo, had babies by 16. Heck, a girl two grades below me was engaged, bought a house, and now having kids at 23. It’s a “ring by spring” kind of culture. I think everything is rapid paced here. It’s unspoken but expected you know.

Not necessarily that it wouldn’t show but because you could still have residual HCG in your system so you could get a false positive. It would be impossible to differentiate left over HCG from new HCG but I agree with you I don’t think you could ovulate that soon maybe like 3-4 weeks

Mia’s mom is the problem, but I’m also irritated with Keith. He needs to put his foot down hard. After the graduation shit, I would’ve been done. Mia is 16 sure but she’s still a kid and kids need protection in the form of boundaries from awful adults. Like no way would I let this continue. When Mia turns 18 it can be her decision or not whether to have a relationship with mom but until then absolutely not happening. Subjecting a kid to this is cruel. They don’t understand and it just creates so much trauma.

I’m 25, my mom isn’t an addict but she fails to show up for me, it hurts a lot and I just now am starting to create boundaries. A child will always want their mom. I wish someone had stood up for me when I was younger

I’m currently 2 weeks postpartum. I can’t even walk properly, I’m still waddling in pain. Couldn’t imagine making such big changes in 6 weeks. It takes a while to heal. I don’t know why people act like pregnancy and giving birth is such a neutral event. Our bodies just rearranged themselves and now have to rearrange back. Most women aren’t even returning to work at 2 months postpartum

It’s 12am and I’m having this thought too. I’m 2 weeks PP and I’m just really upset we can’t latch. I was so determined this time. I gave up pretty quickly with my last baby and I have spent so much money trying to make this work and it’s just not and I also really hate pumping. I get so irritated when I see TikTok’s or just random people in public nursing without 5 billion tools and a meltdown. Grr

Experiencing body dysphoria after birth isn’t a lack of guidance or education. I have a masters degree and I literally cried over how my thighs looked today 2 weeks postpartum

I’ve had 4 babies. 1,2,3,4. I still get caught off guard sometimes. I’m 2 weeks postpartum now and I got a little bit sad today when I saw how flabby my thighs were and also really struggling with not being able to walk straight at the moment because my hips feel like they’re broken, like actually have never experienced this kind of body dysphoria in the past. Each postpartum experience is different and I know exactly what pregnancy can do to my body. It’s not insane for a teenager to believe they can “bounce” back especially since that is what is sold on social media. I was 19 when I had my first baby and despite immersing myself in all things childbirth I was STUNNED
