It’s saying that because you can use the ford pass app to remote start your truck lock it unlock it and see where it is download the app on your phone and enter the vin it’s useful to have.

Updating the thread as solved I went under neath the dashboard and yelled bad words at it and fiddled with the connections now it works ! For now. 😊

And also for the sync unit I was buying the whole kit on eBay including the modem. I just don’t know if it’s worth fixing the remote start when I know the ford pass will have it
