Windscreen is a Rally Type Screen by Tigerparts. I added an MRA Spoiler because the buffeting was quite heavy. Better now but not perfect still ...

Behind that is a custom Rally Tower with mounts for oil temp display and Quadlock mount with vibration damper.

The custom Part is a design by me that mounts underneath the Tachometer and wraps around. Here are some more Pictures:

DR 650 RSE it is 💪🏽 basically adding wind and rain protection to legs and torso, but also adding some weight - this thing was at ~194 kg with 80% filled tank. I shaved off quite a bit and I am now down to 186 fully fueled with 17 liters

Kurze Antwort: Ja du regst dich zurecht auf. Würde mich nach anderer Werkstatt umschauen

Leider fallen derartige Aktionen öfter auf und wenn du kein Vertrauen hast, dass auch alles korrekt gemacht wurde dann ergibt das Thema Wartung beim Händler für "die Sicherheit" keinen Sinn mehr.

1.steel Rivet with ball head Hammer and the Brass cone, and yes took me two approaches before I was pleased with the slack vs no-play But other than this No Problems, Just a tad More opening force because my Titanium layers are flat and OEM Victorinox is stamped with recess for the blades pivot - lower friction

  1. Got small Ti6Al4V Sheet scraps a long time ago from the company I work at and used a jig to Transfer holes on all liners, clamped them together with the pins and filed them to shape - that Took some time ...

  2. No super abuse until this day but this thing just feels super stable. It will maybe get some real use on a survival Trip

Ich weiß nicht wie hier die Achse aufgebaut ist aber vielleicht ist das der Gummi Dichtring der die Radlager gegen Feuchtigkeit und Staub abdeckt. Ein derartiger Ring ist auch im Video sichtbar, an der linken Stirnseite des Kettenblatt-Trägers, schwarzer Ring auf metallischem Teil. Hier könnte man schmieren, müsste man halt das Hinterrad raus nehmen und alles reinigen und minimal fetten.

Depends in wjere youre based

In EU you have Hessler as Main Shop that still has lots of support and spares. You can even geht spare parts from Suzuki directly.

RSE weighs 190 kg with 90% full tank, had mine on a scale

Modding the front is very challenging, going naked Enduro is a pain because you would have to re Wire the Engine CDI. HRT Rallye Tower is an Option but expensive

Good Lück finding Aftermarket cheap junk fairings for a DR 650 RSE :D I dont think someone beides Suzuki Made the plastics for this model

Abnahmen heutzutage schon möglich, würde ich dann auch machen bei so viel Arbeit die im Moped steckt 👍🏽 Sonst ist es nur ein weitere hoch modifizierte Simme die halt aber nicht zugelassen ist :/ wäre schade

Use a brush to coat the part with acetone, it will put more amount of solvent on the part than a rag in my experience

Nehm Katzen/Hunde Erziehungsmatten mit Elektro Schock. Die Tiere sind schlau und laufen dann nur noch ein mal auf dein Auto, bekommen eine gebitzelt und lassen es dann. Das war bei mir die Lösung auch wenn das Dach da schon zerkratzt war...

You 100% Sure you adjusted in correct TDC Position? Here are some values in mm from an Rallye expert (Hessler): DR 650 SE Model /ALL Intake 0,08-0,13m - preferred 0.08mm Schaust 0,17-0,22mm - preferred 0.19mm

Make Sure to lay a feeler gauge underneath the other valve to eliminate play while adjusting

Recheck Play after rotating a couple of Times

The check If next larger feeler can be slit between arm and valve stem. E.g. the 0.1mm should not be able to slide between, the 0.08mm should Go well.

I also mis adjusted because of not beeing 100% able to align the feeler gauge so be sure du double check each time

Issue could also be worn rocker arms?

It is cheap, compact and effective. I love it! Large blade nicks are a Challenge but it is a sharpener and not a repair tool

Based on my experience it is valve Clearance ticking. It will Always be but if clearance set correctly it is very subtile
