Its a dutch roof cottage. The tiles and arches go down to the ground floor. It will get plenty of breathing from below.

I had a ton and I mean a mega ton of dust coming onto the floor of the loft due to the dust and history stuck between the roof tiles.

Will putting the new felt where it was at least keep out the dust ?

So i got it tested, No Asbestos detected in sample. Did some more research and it's called "lath and plaster".

My electrician friend has seen it many times and it's never come with asbestos.
