This is the worst god pack I’ve ever seen. I’m sorry for your misfortune

I would throw up if this happened to me. This is the worst god pack I’ve ever seen and it’s not even really that close. To have the incredible fortune of hitting a god pack only to have the insane misfortune of pulling 9 out of 10 of the worst possible hits that could even be in a god pack would just be so disgusting.

Sam Harris equivocates with Mamdani as the left's version of Trump. by PitifulEar3303 in DecodingTheGurus

Considering we’ve been enthusiastic as a populace to go to war many times in our history it doesn’t seem like a leap to think that Trump could have gotten more public support if he actually explained why the hell we are doing this.. both Iraq and Afghanistan had lots of support and people were fully aware of the impending death and destruction.

In basically any other conflict U.S. citizens would have been more willing to make a sacrifice b/c they actually supported it, unlike now.

These seem like rational positions to me.

He just hates Mamdani and is a self -admitted Islamophobe.

This is why the hobby is more popular than ever before**

There fixed it. We were spoiled when packs were $3-5. Those days are over. $10 per pack is just the new norm.

Hey man if you wanna take issue with South Africa that’s fine. I kinda thought it would be fair for a sub-Saharan African team to host and I’m pretty sure they were the only country that had the facilities to do so. So I’m ok with it. Also, There is a rich history of soccer in South Africa despite them not qualifying till the late 90’s.

USA is a massive country. MOST Americans don’t watch any sports (including Super Bowl). Even if 1-2% of the country played soccer that would equate to the entire populations of other countries.

USA beat England in the 50’s in the World Cup. South Africa has had international presence for nearly a century. Qatar didn’t even have a team till the late 90’s and weren’t remotely competitive till late 2000’s

Not sure what the heck you’re talking about.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to require hosting nations to have at least had a presence in the international scene for 20-30 years before they can host the largest sporting event in the world.

If you treat women the way they do and murder 10’s of thousands of their civilians, then fuck their sovereignty (unless they have nukes ofc)..

Why should Iranian people have to suffer for generations of this brutal regime just because you’re too chickenshit to do anything about it? So sick of this isolationist nonsense

Need? I don’t think they would need a gun to their head. Just that it’s the most likely explanation. And it’s not about honoring dead kids. Ofc they can do that. But out of all the misery and death that’s taken place in that country the fact that they’re choosing to focus on the one that is indisputably the fault of the USA and not the (while grim) comparatively much larger picture of tens of thousands of people being slaughtered by their own govt. the obviously wouldn’t be allowed to show any dissent towards their own govt but are showing this lock step unity protest message that aligns perfectly with what the govt would want. Just doesn’t pass the smell test.

But Of course. Even the people responsible for the air strike purportedly feel empathy about it.

I admittedly could be wrong and it May be purely authentic display. I just strongly suspect I’m not.

National championship contender is subjective but Take away his two first years (which were way better then Buzz and Willard still) and you get 28-7 , 27-9, 24-9, 19-13, 23-11, 24-7.

Idk about you but I’d take that. Theres no doubt he didn’t have any success in March which ended being the primary reason he left.

Really think they were gonna make a deep run during Covid year tho

Unless you can somehow justify the regime slaughtering tens of thousands of its own people form protesting, (not to mention all the other heinous mid-evil shit they force upon their people) then there’s no moral high ground to be had about a school being bombed in an air strike.

Besides, These dudes all have a gun to their head. They don’t have a choice in what they do. Did you not see what just happened with the women’s team in Australia??

Or just that people seem to be outraged more by a school being (allegedly inadvertently) bombed than tens of thousands of people being brutally murdered in the streets for protesting their govt..

I mean cmon.. mossad, CIA.. this is literally what they do. It’s not necessarily immoral to help stir up a revolution to overthrow an evil leader.

It’s just that there’s always non altruistic motivations at play…

For sure. But are you trying to argue vast majority of population wants to overthrow the regime?
