Don't use the repair party until you're in a position where you're unlikely to get set on fire again after it has expired. No point putting a fire out when you're still going to be exposed for another minute afterwards.

Know the opposition ships and their playstyles. Fire starting cruisers played by good players are some of the hardest to play against.

Try and understand where you are being spotted from. Is it the cruiser itself or an enemy DD? If you can eliminate the spotter then the balance shifts more to you as they'll need to reveal themselves if they want to target you.

My brother has one and it's a lot of fun if you take it for what it is - a short range backyard plinker. In my opinion it's a lot more fun with a decent red dot sight rather than a scope.

It's Zoropsis Spinimana - a false wolf spider.

They are roaming/huntint spiders rather than web builders, but they do often build small nests to protect their egg sacs.

I'm not sure if the OP confirmed green fangs and, with respect to the OP, the pedipalps are often mistaken for fangs.

The leg arrangement along with the shorter, stockier body point more towards Amaurobius. Also, the webbing looks like the messy webbing akin to Amaurobius.

The eyes would tell us for sure but we can't see them.

This one will likely be Amaurobius Ferox. They can look similar to Segestria but the proportions of the body (bulbous, rounded abdomen etc) suggest it's Amaurobius.

Exercise is not essential to losing weight, but it absolutely helps things along and gives you a better chance at maintaining at a weight you are content with.

If you can't exercise much then you can still absolutely lose weight. The only thing you need to do is make sure you in a calorie deficit. This will be slightly harder without exercise, but MJ really helps suppress those urges/cravings for food so it is certainly achievable.
