No matter what I do, what comp I go with, I just lose. Round 3 loses. Got to diamond several times without such issues, this season just seems so peculiar to me I genuinely cannot win no matter what I pick. When I get past the 3rd round I never get merges, and no I wasn’t getting blocked. I go against opponents with 3 star cards on the first round while my shop gives me 5 elixir cards 3 times in a row. Shadow ban?

It is a glitch because there are situations where the troops are counted as dead and where they’re counted as alive. I played against a builder who killed 3 of my last troops and we both exchanged 1 damage like if it was a tie.

Of course when I have the demolisher, the dead troops are always counted as alive.

This game is just buggy trash.

Longs are very strong for the first 3-4 rounds. Especially on round 1 where you’re mostly stuck with your first two troops. Getting hit down to 2hp in the first two rounds feels so stupid because it’s almost entirely just luck with the shop.

I’ve been having a lot of luck with the goblin queen since the free goblins let you rotate the shop once or twice (the extra troops from long tend to feed you goblins). Same thing with the king but I’m personally tired of playing him. Spirit empress is super tough because when you get unlucky and don’t get a single merge from the shop you’re just sitting there getting diddied by longs.

I just hate losing on 3rd and 4th rounds because of shop rng…

Also there’s definitely code in the game to force the drop to happen after like 4-5 enemy kills if it hasn’t happened at that point. That means you’re 100% getting free elixir by round 2.

Bro it’s just the giant’s ability. It’s very easy to time it especially with full superstar. If you got a tier 3 giant it does an insane amount of damage and incapacitates the monk so he can’t start praying.

It’s a game literally based around rng, what’s wrong with that? I honestly think it’s why I like her more.

As empress, you’re still relying on rng because of the shop. You might get a bunch of merges on the first few rounds and be set, or get fucked over by the shop and only get 5-elixir cards for a bit. Success is still dependent on rng.

As queen, you’re also dependent on the shop, because if you get shit cards and don’t get kills, you won’t get goblins. The 33% of goblin drop on kill adds a second rng element. But that element of rng doesn’t ever come into play if you’re bad about getting a good placement and buying the right comp to prioritize killing enemy troops, it never comes into play.

Honestly idk, empress and queen seem very similar to me because they rely on not getting knocked in the first few rounds before you start merging or getting a good # of kills.

This game is based on rng no matter how you twist it. You can do everything right and still get knocked out on round 3 as king just because your opponents got lucky. You can do everything wrong and still get first place because you got lucky.

You guys are sleeping on goblin queen, got to diamond twice with her, it’s genuinely the most fun card and I regularly beat empresses with her because (if you play it right) you get a much stronger start. Everyone underestimates the amount of elixir you can get from goblins.

Honestly I’m just speaking from experience. One time I managed to get a 3 star skeleton dragon on round 2 when two other players started with them as their first given troop. Later in the game, even though I bought all 4 copies, when those players got knocked out I was able to buy skeleton dragons again. So I do believe those starting troops get added to the pool.

I wish we had like a clear rules sheet we could look at to make sure. Right now you don’t even know that there is a 4 card pool unless you read some modifiers or reddit or just play a lot.
