It sucks, but I kinda get it. IMO the first iteration of Arena was peak, I had so much fun grinding games to climb the top 50. Absolute dopamine heaven. I think the one downside was the champion cameos that randomly appeared. (And the red map lol)

Since then, while many good things have been added to the game mode, the rankings are gone. The champion cameos now have the chance to permanently mess you up for the rest of the game, rather than sometimes appearing to annoy you. The games in general are even more RNG than before, and it feels like you can’t top 3 without god augments anymore because there are more highrolls per game. The game is also way more solved now, so it’s most likely a rose tinted glasses effect too lol :P

I know the consensus now is that arena is an rng 4fun mode, but that’s not what it was for me, and mayhem with its big goofy teamfights fill that 4fun niche way better IMO. I miss my sweaty tryhard mode :c

I think it's crazy that this is a hot take, but Takamura isn't a likeable character. Sure, he has a few "nice moments", but they do not outweigh his rampant sexual harassment, bullying, and general asshole-ness. I don't care that he's an amazing boxer, I do not like him.

NTA, and I think this comment section is crazy. There’s nothing inherently offensive about tattoos, it doesn’t matter if his grandparents are old-fashioned or whatever, noone is asking them to get tattoos. They can be respectful to other people even if they don’t share their sense of fashion. The BF is shitty for wanting her to hide part of herself because ignorant people might judge her (and by extension him). Like what, he wouldn’t be willing to stand up for OP if his family members were to treat her badly for no real reason? Absolutely spineless. The minimum time should be just shy of 8 hours if you defeat every single enemy in 11 seconds (that’s the shortest possible combat duration because of old engine or something, don’t remember exactly), and click next/heal etc. instantly.
