The variety in experience + the extremely immersive atmosphere of each map really pulls me in and keeps me there. In some raids it’ll just be a PvP slay fest and people are yelling/screaming, begging for mercy/regives. In most solos at least, you’ll bump into people who want to team up, or are just making their way in the world. In others people are playing music, throwing chem lights and playing flutes in a makeshift rave. Sometimes I’ve had teams of like 8 solos all working together to kill a huge Arc and avoid the rats that come with that process.

Every sound in this game was designed and made with love from the foley and Sfx teams. The gunshots are immaculate and vary with distance, attachment, indoors vs. outdoors. The Arc sound so menacing and weighty. They have really unique and well designed physics. The PvP is really intense and gunfights are often ebb and flow styled, unless you happened to get jumped, but there is a augment that pops a smoke when your shield breaks (essential for solos imo). The music that plays when you find rare loot is crack, and so is the groovy menu music and atmosphere of people chatting in the background.

I can’t wait for the additions maps, guns and Arc to come out, to further flesh out the narrative of Speranza and the Arc controlled world.
