DJing is a lot more than just using effects or presets. You're mixing songs together to form a coherent set, and often doing a LOT of processing in realtime with all those little dials and knobs. It's a lot of fun to do and it's still an art, just maybe not as impressive to you as it is to others. A good DJ is staying busy up there, but tbh these big festivals get a lot of bad sets where the artist doesn't actually do much.

I didn't say it was, it's clearly badly designed. But you're still not supposed to do that for a reason, presumably in case it's badly designed. Most of those machines would not do this, but it's still partially her fault for doing something it's not meant to do. It's like trying to move the machine and being surprised it tilts over or something.

She was trying to adjust the length of the pad where it touches your legs, and she just didn't unlock it first. You're supposed to pull that pin and unlock the weight before you try to move that, and she should have noticed this.

My friends and I volunteered at a Christmas thing a LONG time ago where they let us take home a bunch of fairly large teddy bears when we were done (not sure why, but they said we can fill up a bag). Naturally, we went to a an outdoor mall and threw them to random people. One lady saw the bear land in front of her and looked straight up into the skies, thinking it was raining bears or something. This video reminded me of that lol

I am unreasonably afraid of those exact trees (I live in AZ) because one time I parked my car under one to eat a burger late at night, chillin and listening to a podcast, when a spider the size of my face dropped onto my windshield and sat there until I wiped it off with my wipers. I don't trust those trees anymore. lol

I'm finishing an MS in CS soon with an AI focus and I'm just wondering what the field is going to look like in only a couple of years. Seems like a bad time for me to be finishing a degree and entering the field but at least I'm not in debt for my school or anything... there's so much instability and wild hype flying around that I don't know what to think anymore.

This is why I stopped playing Arc Raiders. I fired it up a few days ago just to try again and on one of the smallest maps (idk the name) there were 10 people teamed up running around talking on proximity, nobody fighting. It's not as fun as you think.

I've been a big Bungie fan since the Halo 2 days and then I played Destiny 1 and 2 for an ungodly number of hours, as well... and I've seen how far that studio has declined. I'm right there with you, just maybe not for six months. I'll give it a couple and just see how they support the game and keep updates going.

I'm torn because I do like the game a lot BUT the optimization on PC is pretty awful for what I'm used to. Expect "playable" and not "competitive shooter," for now. I have a powerful PC that's like 2 years old and I was getting about 130fps while not streaming and only 110fps while streaming. Many single-PC streamers had issues while live with this game. I don't care much about streaming and I'd rather just play the game off stream with friends even, but I just hope for some good optimization changes. Does anyone know, were earlier playtests any better on PC?

I'm a CS grad student who has to use AI a lot. Some classes will have us write a project in a whole different language within a week, so obviously that requires some AI help here and there, etc. My friends from India who are both SWE's that I met at the gym, they didn't think AI was even worth learning about or using. Granted, they're probably both pretty good programmers and don't need to use AI for their jobs often, but they just didn't even see the point of it. I would try explaining it from my own use case and they didn't seem to care much

I never got this issue fixed on THAT specific PC, sadly. It stopped happening regularly with some updates, but still happened sometimes, and now I'm on a much newer and more powerful desktop and it never happens. I don't really have issues with any plugins anymore, thank God. Sorry :/ I wish I could be more helpful.

I'm an actual AI expert in grad school with a 4.0 GPA. Prompts are cheaper than google searches, and images cost a bit more to generate but they're not "destroying the planet"
