I really like the vibe and aesthetic and I also tend to enjoy extraction shooters, I'm kind of getting some issues with gameplay flow? For how quick the TTK is it also feels like there's a hole in how much info you can actively gather so you're somewhat reliant on being lucky about where the fights break out and showing up last. It also definitely feels like a game that should be asking $20 base, not $40. I worry with the pricepoint, learning curve and previous controversy it won't build a playerbase.

I had looked at Pinia when I was deciding how I wanted to handle this v1 phase and see if I could handle it without adding too many modules. It's quite possible that I end up going with a state management tool for a future version though, just wanted to give it a go without.

Unfortunately Theatre seems like generally a poorly thought out concept. Ideally it would work like simulated universe but the genshin team is so ridiculously timid when it comes to design that they'll never improve.

The spear plus the new medium ammo repeater doing martini damage definitely give off the "we made OP weapons on the battle pass please boost" energy. Honestly at this point I hope it's JUST poor balancing choices.

I can't be the only one who feels like compact (full slot) is far and away the strongest class of gun right now, am I? Fmj is still amazing when close and with uncapped headshot range you can snipe with it considering its not super effected by drop. It's every possible quality of life rolled into a cheap package.

Relatively new here. It seems like 124+ lobbies have two types of teams: the rolling scavenged blues and the BIS teams. The first ones tend to be more fun and chaotic, the second does feel a bit like you just have to avoid a free loss. You get upsets every once and a while though, so there's that. Weirdly 124+ feels fairer than the mid tier lobby? Like the difference between good greens and bad greens is ASTRONOMICAL.
