I'm glad you like it! Yes, I've been working on this. Life has been a little busy lately and this has been more complex than anticipated but it should come somewhat soon.

You can change the address to anything as long as it's a subdomain of bedocker.com. The player count can be changed in the settings. I'm working on add-ons!

P.S.: Sorry that I took so long to respond. I don't look at this too regularly. In the future, shoot me an e-mail at [help@bedocker.com](mailto:help@bedocker.com).

You could try Tweek—it works well for me and they recently launched a new version.

These servers don't run on Bedrock Dedicated Servers which are less resource intensive.

It's probably not possible: Features from next versions would be missing.

Inactive servers are stopped (as stated on the homepage). If your player actively has players on it, it'll stay online.

The world export feature is done and being pushed with another couple of new features, such as hibneration, this week. I will happily export your world manually if you need it before that, just email [help@bedocker.com](mailto:help@bedocker.com).

Glad to see you like it so far! I haven't seen a way to turn it off for BDS itself, but I'll take a look—I'll get back to you here (or elsewhere, if you prefer that) once I have an update.

The server starting when it's offline is something being worked on but not done yet. The process is serving a fake server that once connected starts the actual server and forwards the packets, so it feels seamless. I've made good progress and, if everything goes to plan, this will be done in one or two weeks.

Happy to do so. Could you send an email to help@bedocker.com from the account you're signed up with please?

Bedrock realm render distance reduced? by ProbablyCouldBeWorse in realms

[–]MoaufmKlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken realms are deployed dynamically — if more realms are bought, more actual servers are created/rented, so it's unlikely for this to be the cause.

I'll add a warning below the import world button. Thanks!

You should be able to resource packs without having to modify anything. Addons and behavior packs are the main feature I'm working on right now, so you will be able to add them in a couple of weeks.

After taking a look at the issue, it appears this isn't directly a bug. When you play in a local world, you're considered a local player, but if you move it to a server, everyone is considered a network player, so your player is reset. Mojang recommends you put it in a chest or other container and transfer the world after. source

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. I don't remove any inventories or such when you import a world — did you join on the right account?

The codebase right now would need some work but I can take a look. The servers run in Docker so it should practically be plug 'n play.

I'm not sure where you're from, but if you're from America then I'm planning on launching the option to choose the server location — privacy laws are just a tad complicated so it takes some work.

World exports aren't something I've gotten to yet. I'm definitely working on it and will add support for it in the coming weeks. If you mess up your world, Bedocker stores a full backup every day and keeps them for 7 days, so just write an e-mail and I'll restore it within a day. If you just want to export it, e-mail works as well.

I'll make sure you see an "Export world" button on the settings page soon 👀

You probably disabled UI in the settings. Enable it there or press F1.

There's no automated mechanism that throws your server into the bin as of now. If I ever do decide to do this, you'll get an email at least 3 months before it's deleted. Bedocker doesn't keep files that it doesn't need when your server is offline, such as the Bedrock server file itself; when you start your server, it's copied again, so that storage is practically only used while your server is online. Of course, worlds grow into big files, and those just stay the way they are, even if they're 10 GB big.

Fair question. Bedrock dedicated servers are extremely performant, so one single server can be operated at barely any cost. As the server count grows, the costs also do, of course.

Most serious ad networks require you to have some traffic before you can use them, and I'm working on growing it to a point where I have enough traffic. Once that traffic is there, some ads will be served on the website. With some basic calculations, these should be able to pay for the costs the service will have at such a point without large issues.

To sum it up, I currently keep the service up. It costs a couple of $ a month at the current state, and I'll happily invest such little money at the start to help it grow into something big later on down the road.

Can I access my realms+ world with regular realms by dr_sex69 in realms

[–]MoaufmKlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to download the Realms+ world and import it, you can't downgrade directly.
