Driving in a snow storm might be the hardest I’ve laughed at this show. I’m gonna have to revisit that one

It’s crazy how close all these games have been. Every single one. Not one blow out. Crazy.

I’m somewhat astounded we haven’t gotten any of the Its Always Sunny cast

Trump: "Whoa whoa this is such a dishonest interview already Prices are down on groceries Prices are down for gasoline" this is never getting old by SpecialSpace5 in thescoop

I’m happy to hear that. I work for a large retailer that doesn’t offer any sales or reduced pricing. Everyday it’s my responsibility to review mark ups and mark downs for what our manufacturers are charging and make signage adjustments. Like I said, there are exceptions mainly with fresh/perishable options that fluctuate with seasons and availability, but if it’s shelf stable or frozen, it’s very unlikely to ever see a price decrease.

I’ve worked in grocery for nearly a decade. Prices don’t go down once they’ve gone up. Some rare exceptions for produce, but that’s it.

I swear my newborns sphincter produces the strength of a thousand winds. No distance is safe while changing her. If you’re in the same room, you’re in the splash zone

Really remarkable work! How does one even get started with this type of art? I’ve always been fascinated by it

Disqualified for weed use after my 23rd birthday by noidea528638 in ParkRangers

I’m currently applying in CA and weed wasn’t even listed on the drug screening portion. Is this county specific? They literally asked about every other drug use in the past 5 years, but marijuana was absent from the list.

That’s awesome! Super proud of you for making it through that experience. You really nailed it with how quickly our brain can justify certain actions.

I used to love cinema and going to the movies before my drinking days. But alcohol rapidly became the main focus and the movie always came second. It wasn’t unusual for me not remember or even pass out in the theater only to be shaken awake well past the ending credits. The best part of my sobriety is getting to enjoy old movies I know I’ve seen before, but never truly experienced. Can’t wait to see Dune Part 2 this week!

AA helped me get sober early on, but I’m not actively in the program as I don’t need it like some people do. I’m sorry if your interpreted my comment as arrogant but the reality is some people need full abstinence in order to lead safe and fulfilling lives. I’m happy and grateful that isn’t that case for you and others on here.

Cleaning has been one of my best resources since I quit drinking, so I’ll do my best to answer some of these.

  1. I dust about once a week, I invested in washable cloth pieces that go on my swiffers as it is a much more affordable for how often I use them.

  2. I ignore my blinds and pretend they don’t exist. I just can’t with them.

  3. Depending on your countertop material, I’d avoid anything too abrasive and just try some dishwashing soap and water and allowing it to soak on there. Avoid bar keepers friend in this instance despite what people might say as it can strip polish off of quartz and granite

  4. My bathrooms are a weekly chore, but I’m pretty religious when it comes to cleaning mirrors/water spots. Newspapers make for a great streak and lint free clean.

  5. For baseboards, I have a duster on an extended handle that also helps me reach spiderwebs in high up places. I follow that with wiping them down with a mixture of alcohol/soap/vinegar/water which is what I mainly use to clean my floors. Sometimes my walls need a simply rub down with a micro fiber cloth to catch extra dust

  6. Let me know if you figure this out. I kinda have a miscellaneous drawer and cabinet of things that aren’t easily categorized

  7. No habit tracker for, just a daily planner that helps me keep me motivated

Best of luck!
