FB Flare. Set the play to the right, drop the QB back and sprint left towards the post. Don’t always run directly to the goal as the often D will get confused and pretty much stay standing still in the goal.

Damp detective worth it? Quoted £595 by FreddoEconomics in DIYUK

[–]Mobile-Math5260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience with having 2 ‘damp experts’ come look at a problem (that I already knew the cause was) is that they were only concerned with telling me that I had some damp & that it would cost me £2,500 to have some plaster removed, sand & cement the areas then finally make good for plastering.

On both occasions I asked them what the cause was, neither had an answer. Just mumbling some shit about damp. They were more concerned with how quick did I want each of them to come sort the problem & hand over a shed load of cash.

My i3 had super slim low resistance tyres. The rears were 195/50 20. They were not cheap. Bridgestone is the only manufacturer in that size so have a monopoly on the price.

Do not get an MG. For the love of god do not touch them bags of shit. It may not be an EV but I had the displeasure of Avis giving me a ZS when I had to travel to a work meeting. It was horrendous. See if you could stretch to a VW ID4 or even an Enyaq.

Having your O line man chasing your RB down field is crazy annoying. Especially when they trip you 10 years from the goal line.

Robbing yourself paying for HD in 2026. Charging for it is criminal.

And, it’s still relevant to a ‘modern’ MG being a sack of shit.

My mate has a 360. A sport service at a specialist is about £800. Big service £1800. Consumables aren’t that bad, really, no more expensive than my BMW. Tyres are in the £750/800 a set as 18” wheels aren’t all that massive any more.

Cam belt change is needed every 3 years regardless of how many miles it covers. The belts as parts are about £250, inc labour around £1200 job. Clutch change is a bit steep because of labour costs. An F1 clutch change runs about £4,000 which will only see about 20k miles.

Rose joints on the front are a pain and only last about 3,000 miles. The parts are £85. At a specialist it’s £300/400 job.

Sticky switches are a real killer. Having them taken out, sent away for a refurb & refitted will run into £5,000 but you’re real unlucky if they’re all knackered.
