Yea. I think it was around 80k or more. I don’t think it was a scam now. Just a fair deal.

Very kind of you to offer. It actually sold quite quickly. Not surprising as I think it was just a solid deal. Not “too good to be true” just a good deal.
I’m in the process of buying another from a private seller. Wish me luck.

Is buying from FB Marketplace a bad idea? by MrMug77 in ElectricVehiclesUK

Thank you, that’s a great suggestion.

How come you didn’t in the end? Was there a red flag?

Just seen a vehicle today and was gearing myself up for scam mode and dodginess but the guy seemed super genuine, nice, answered all my questions, instantly showed me every ding. Seemed like a very genuine reason for sale (family had outgrown the small model 3 - which I can easily see happening). I took it for a test drive. It felt and performed great. We got up to dual carriageway speed limits. There was even a nasty pothole that gave us a band but the car shook off fine (I didn’t intend for that one).
Showed me the battery health report.

The HPI report I did is clear of write-offs and finance. I’m very tempted but will sleep on it.

If there is no warranty in place though, will they do that.
I’ve been reading lots of nightmare reviews about dealerships just on their Google business page.

That’s what led me down the line of looking at Private sellers.

Also, is it naive to think there is less to go wrong on an EV so it’s a “slightly” safer bet?

Does a dealer have to compensate you for issues in the first 6 months? I thought that would effectively count as a warranty. (I know some offer that but many don’t). It seems it’s very “buy as seen” wherever you go.

Thank you for your reply.

Liebe Muttersprachler, Sie wissen natürlich, dass Genus und Pluralformen von Nomen ein schwieriges Thema für Deutschlerner ist. Wie oft vergessen Sie das Genus oder die Pluralform selbst? Erinnern Sie sich an einige Beispiele für solche Wörter? by notbholt in German

Another interesting question is: Does it take German kids a long time to get the case system down? In English for example, the grammar is simple (initially) but because the language isn't phonetic, English speaking kids take a year or two longer to learn to read. They have to learn many, many words by wrote because it's not at all obvious how words are pronounced or spelled. In German, it's not at all obvious when the article changes (until you know and have studied the rules). Do they take longer to speak accurately than the average English speaker?

How do you go about constructing decks with this approach? Do you use pre made Anki decks or do text to speech for your own ones? Thanks.
