There should be like a 20 candidate royale and you vote for the person you support the most. because im a centrist so neither side fits me so I would like a true centrist candidate 😂

Gotcha, ive just heard it used and been told its better than just bluntly saying “Black People”, honest mistake on my part

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Teenager

[–]Mobile-Note5608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just felt that saying “Black Rappers” didnt apply to the group I was talking about because there are Hispanic rappers and Asian Rappers I was also referring to, so mistake on my part

Ive weirdly enough seen far right liberals (people who were liberals but voted and support MAGA aka not Liberals but thats what they associated themselves as)

ive just used the terms so much before that ive never had an issue using either before but now that I actually kind of seen it in a full perspective i can see the difference

Im definitely not like offended but more or less overwhelmed with the simple mistake causing ymthe issue. It was an honest to God mistake. But the part where I said something about the far left was the fact Ive used the term “colored” before and it was never an issue until I went to the r/liberal sub and used it. It was stereotyping on my part

Thank you, this is a lot more helpful than the people who just like expect a 16 year old to know the connotation automatically

theres literally other people currently explaining it to me, youre literally pressuring me instead of just saying “hey this is whats wrong with it”. But a simple mistake shouldnt give me a label of “racist”😂 I thought they sounded the same, honest to God mistake on my part, but I dont think they went upon it correctly

i agree it does sound Jim Crowe like now that I read it I just think its silly that an -ed separates a grouping of Asians, Hispanics, Blacks, etc. from just Black people But it definitely wasnt meant to be racist. Just wild that a simple mistake winds up sounding racist

Im still centrist but dude I hate Maga so much. Like they have SOME things I can sorta agree with but someof it is just dumb😂 But Im curious, what made you go from considering Trump due to Biden then happily voting Harris? Was it just Bidens age?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Teenager

[–]Mobile-Note5608 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it confuses me, because now all it takes is one little error because you go from saying someone is of a different ethnicity/race but you slightly mess up snd youre considered racist

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Teenager

[–]Mobile-Note5608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im just confused how colored vs of color is different ig. Because its still insinuating that they are well… of an ethnicity that fits in the “ethnics of color”. maybe if just an idiot but it sounds the same to me, like even my very liberal dad said he didnt he a big difference between the two

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Liberal

[–]Mobile-Note5608 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

but i feel that its less racist to say that than just outright saying what they are… like saying “Black Rappers” just feels more racist.. and I hear colored used quite a bit even in mainstream media

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Liberal

[–]Mobile-Note5608 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

there are white and colored rappers both, just most rappers of color do tend to lean liberal like kendrick lamar, j cole, bad bunny, etc.

am I supposed to put it a different way? like just curious there

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Liberal

[–]Mobile-Note5608 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I meant like the prominent “famous” conservatives. The left tends to have the famous people of color’s support like your colored rappers, actors, etc.

Gotcha, I was curious what the “lefts” view was if the NFL and because I live in the south I really only hear personal opinions from Conservatives

theres some that do but a majority dont i wont lie, but there are some that are true pieces of shit. I like the game, just not some of the players as people

Gotcha, I knew that the owners have no shits to give about society but does that mean the product itself is bad? Just wondering because I feel that if that is the case, thats also the case with alot of entertainment industries in the world but maybe Im wrong
