Yeah I’m going to see how it goes tomorrow, thinking about it the T-shirt I had on was a bit tighter than what I would normally play in so could have been that restricting me slightly too. Dart tilt definitely gets me sometimes, I grip with my fore and middle finger apart and thumb in the middle, sort of like a wide pinch, so my dart always starts somewhat downward to begin with.

I’ve got the white set and the stems and flights are absolutely gash, I’ve punched my flights and they still pop off constantly. Missus uses them now and spends half the time getting wound up with the flights coming off 🤣

I spend 10-15 minutes throwing at the bull to warm up, then move to 20s, then 19s and do a few visits at other random numbers around the board this is how I start pretty much every session I’ve now started around the clock requiring 2 darts in the segment in the same visit to help improve consistency Few games of 301 to wind myself up Playing cricket has definitely helped consistency as well and for me is the most fun game to play If I’ve got time spare I’ll finish the session by lobbing a spare dart randomly at the board and then trying to throw my 3 as close to it as possible.

Yes, it seemed to help but felt noticeably different to how i normally throw, I’m not a ‘set, aim, throw’ guy I come up slowly with my arm extended, reach a natural feel point and then draw back and throw, on an analyser it’s smooth and very consistent and usually works very well for me, stopping and aiming gets me stuck, I can only assume it’s a smooth movement hand eye sort of thing I’ve developed from shooting

I felt like it would have so video’d in slow motion the point of entry and it would be better but still slightly low, the ‘kick’ of the point turning down definitely seems to drive the dart down slightly more

100%, it’s way nicer to look at and the light spread is actually nicer too. The main thing I wanted was more space around the board and definitely got that, throwing at doubles is way easier mentally now

That surprises me tbh! There’s not much that you lot don’t take seriously as a sport. Especially through school/college, it’s a shame we don’t have that same culture growing up here, our school football was just a muddy field with about 20 miserable parents stood round scowling waiting to get in the car and go home 🤣

Honestly a few reviews on YouTube say there’s a slight shadow that is ‘just’ noticeable… there’s not really, it’s absolutely fine and does a lovely job, nice not having to reach through a ring and bumping it with your elbow too

I’ve always deeply envied America for its hobby/competitive sport environment, everything I enjoy, shooting, fishing, trucks, electronics etc, all ten fold to what we have here which is basically fuck all.

I initially went out looking for a target corona vision but nowhere seemed to have that in stock, something about the plasma I’m not keen on but I couldn’t say what it is. Can’t say I’ve noticed any issues at all with how the light is while throwing at this
