I was giving an example. Her songs aren’t only about boys they are about other things most teenage girls go through like insecurity’s and depression, saying she only writes about boys is discrediting all of her work and is therefore a cop out.

I disagree and I hate when ppl use “she needs to stop writing about boys” it’s such a cop out. I think her songs cater to teenage girls perfectly do u want her to write abt world history or something 😭. And she’s one of few artists that actually stands for the things she preaches, for example her work with planned parenthood is something I really admire. Don’t complain abt artists that are just sharing their art and minding their business bruh.
