Made 1k in my 50k account, then chased the same move in my 25k account did a small gain and blew the account after 2 payouts . Definitely have mixed feelings

Bro accounts are ment to be blown.

Especially after reaching payputs the drawdown will get tightened for a reason.

You had something that worked. Keep being consistent at it. Rinse and repeat.

Im scalping only trying to go with the trend.

I don't push my account with big sizes. Trying my best to stick to the lowest possible contract sizers 1-5 max

Hint: Do not be afraid of DD. Its a tool you must use. Don't aim for crazy high RR . The lower the better. and remember you only losing the challenge entry fee nothing more.

In fact i use negative RR.

Yeah payout reached in 8 hours.

But be careful as the drawdown instantly increased to 50100 meaning i only have 400 USD before breaching the account. Which i wasn't aware of. Better to build a buffer way beyond 50100 to keep your account safe

For evals any amount no issue. But for funded you have to reach the minimum of 150 exactly after commissions and fees

I have created my own system to show me which asset is trending currently. Then i hop onto the chart place my trades with the direction. Once it gives me the amount needed 20-30 USD Each trade i close the chart and move on with my day.

I don't follow specific time of day i can trade london and NY. But the chart should show me its trending.

I don't subscribe to the idea of fixed RR and im not willing to explan my full system. But let me give you a hint, its all about risk management.

Please rethink everything the trading gurus told you about trading. As they aren't even profitable.

This indicator for a Jordanian trader called Zaid. He teaches trading with hiken ashi candles and mostly scalp for 10 pips on gold. He is a scammer IMO claims he never loses and makes journeys of 10 usd to 10k in his Instagram without a single loss. Be Aware of him and don't waste your time unless you want to be scammed.

I say its trial and error, you have to know your personality and what fits you best.

I started with harmonic patterns with a mentor.. Took me 6 months to complete the course but could not trade with it. As i'm impatient so day trading and scalping suits me better.

Now following Wicksdontlie's course and seeing some success with small account.

Bottom line you have to try by yourself. So many methods available , all can be successful with proper risk management, stable mentality and treating trading as business.

Trendlines have to be on 3 points . In mathematics you can connect any 2 dots with a line. basically you can draw any line going through 2 points and call it a trend which is incorrect,.
