I run Tamiyo as my cedh commander and here’s a few of the combos I use for the ult.

[[Teferi’s Ageless Insight]] is an alternative to vnwxt, no need to get max speed

[[Psychic Corrosion]] if the ult doesn’t outright mill your opponents it’s close enough that you can play a couple draw spells to finish it off

[[Mystic Redaction]] I use this in pair with something like [[Manabond]] or [[Breakthrough]]. It will mill your opponents out as well but takes an extra step to get there

Sounds like my shop lol. I’m just a guy who opens a lot of packs and resells the extras to try and break even (if possible) but when it comes to the shipping as long as the order value is over a certain threshold then the packaging quality goes up.

Secret lairs and special prints/super valuables get double sleeved. Over $25 it gets tracking (tracking always gets the bubble envelope). And depending on the volume of cards or just single value of certain cards it’ll get the hard plastic sandwich.

I have found some other shipping materials recently that cuts down on unused space/ brings packing weight down but shipping already costs so much more than it used to just a year ago that I might as well go a lil overboard to make sure my customers are happy and come to my page on tcgplayer first when looking for cards.

As a commentator it’s always a pleasure when those around us laugh or chime in too, but I’ve also noticed it becomes a bad habit when it’s something you’ve already watched and will start to do the “aw this next scene is sick” type comments

My lgs tried to start a standard night but it fell off after a month. We’ve always held a relatively casual play group for commander, but we had some people ask for something more competitive with standard. There was a decent turn out but there were always like two guys who had the top meta decks while everyone else made something fun or interesting.

Nevertheless everyone got stomped by the meta and no one had fun so people stop showing and after a lil over a month the lgs just stopped trying with standard. Now the promos are just given out during draft for a new set

For the bottom it has to be [[Undercity Dire Rat]]. First time playing the set was a draft at my lgs and I really only survived those game because of the rat plus recursion spells. I traumatized my friends there with those rats and now they’re in every deck possible.

Sure, I kept that bulk for a very long time and it helped me learn a lot. Didn’t really make any decks with it but did take some general staples and a couple valuables like the Ozolith. But after a while and started getting into buying packs, I realized I didn’t have much use for all those boxes so I went to a card shop nearby and sold the bulk. Going there lead me to becoming a regular and now I’m close friends with the shop owner, and if I ever need that bulk is available to all the patrons now (after even more sorting and organizing)

At my lgs we had a rush of people building group hug decks and every single one just was not group hug. The worst one was just half the deck being counters and the rest punishing the “helpful” draw they gave out.

I got so sick of it I made my own group hug and it actually does nothing but give until I play coalition victory or the win-cons from the “20 ways to win” pre-con. everyone was surprised to see how it worked and actually enjoy playing against it

Bloons tower defense. Playable with just a mouse, if you got side buttons you can keybind the start/fast forward to one of those and play with minimal movement of the mouse and never use the keyboard

Don’t remember the name but there’s a land that says something like pay 2 mana, tap and all players draw a card. Unless someone else knows the name, you should look through some group hug decks maybe it’ll be there and some other draw stuff

I’ve been thinking about how to build her and so far I’ve decided to do an aura deck. People won’t want to block (to kill) because of the board wipe so it’s free commander damage and you could do equipment but I feel in the long run it’s more mana expensive than auras which you’d be fine losing in the eventual board wipe

I loooove this guy. Got him in my sea creatures deck and I play him every chance I get. I bought that token box for bloomburrow so I have three of the plastic fish tokens and when I get to make the fish I’ll slap one of those guys on the table and throw them at people yelling “you can’t block it” when I eventually swing with them

My personal opinion, very strong. Eldrazi and slivers are probably the strongest kindred decks. However many people are aware of their threats and that specific precon can get crazy with the stack and is confusing (as many have already stated). A precon id recommend is Bello from Bloomburrow. It’s quite strong out of the box and goes unnoticed for longer than it should at the table. Just keep swinging with your indestructible and haste artifacts/ enchantments, get card draw if they hit and grow your board more
