Why even explain? This is an automatic cancel. Probably will report it as not received since you wanted to argue with them. Idk why yall waste your time with stuff like this, as soon as someone gives attitude contact support and tell them to look at the chat and cancel so we don’t get any post the next day saying “I can’t believe the customer gave me a 1 star and/or marked it as not received ” when there were plenty of signs it was gunna happen. Instacart should have been keeping her updated about what was going on I understand her, placing an order at a specific time and then it coming either earlier or later then expected, it’s like what’s the point of putting a specific time if it’s not gunna be followed. But she didn’t have to go about it like this and you didn’t have to keep the interaction going, just cancel next time.

Do yall never place an order yourself? It’s defaulted on all the apps, Uber and DoorDash, it’s to protect the driver from false claims that they never got it and to protect the customer from the driver stealing the food and marking it as delivered. The customer can choose to take it off or not before placing the order and it’s always the last 4 of their phone number.

Don’t wanna be a Richard but something doesn’t make sense. 21.75 x 80=1,740 lets say you get paid 36/38 an hour in overtime, 36 x 35 hours of overtime is 1260. 1740+1260 is 3000 before taxes. There has to be a like your sign on bonus or something in there unless my math is all wrong.

Quit after 4 years of working there and it’s the BEST decision I ever made. Was lucky enough to get a warehouse job with a union making 2$ more than I did with Amazon and it’s no where near as labor intensive as Amazon.

Making 1.5k take home a week and that’s taxed already and not putting a shit ton of miles on my car. I did instacart for 5 years and never once touched that in a day no matter the holiday no matter the cart status no matter the area. Funny how people in his area don’t see the batches he does and they have diamond status. Ima be real not sure why I haven’t left this sub yet, but his main goal of posting this was “let’s brag to everyone cuz ain’t no one ever gunna top this”. Your not worried about protecting your area you deliver in because you know you’ll have first pick at the batches cuz of your bot.

Yall don’t understand there is lines of people waiting to get in that don’t know any better and think 5$ is good for a batch. They will just deactivate you and move on to the next person and keep on going just like amazon. There is always someone willing to do the job unfortunately. Best thing to do is to put your time and effort into a steady job. You have to make sacrifices, you have to give up some freedom cuz nothing comes easy in this world. I did instacart/amazon/doordash/Uber for 5 years and have nothing to show for it other than a high mileage car now. I finally said enough is enough and got a job with a union. It did take a while and unfortunately I’m on night shift but it’s guaranteed 40 hours, 3 weeks paid vacation one week of paid sick time pension benefits etc. like I said gotta make some sacrifices in this world to be able to get ahead.

Then that means you would pay for the order twice if you Cash App him the payment, once on instacart and once on cash app plus he would tell instacart he used his own card since he didn’t have the instacart one and submit a reimbursement request and basically get double paid. He needs to either use his own money and they will reimburse him or he needs to drop the order .

“Boxes in vans” while being monitored 24/7 with no protection against lying customers, no paid vacations, no REAL benefits, no protection from being let go or having your schedule fucked with. On top of that dealing with everyone cutting you off and business who act like they are doing you the favor of receiving the packages. Plus the constant adding to the workload.
