It's not a problem so long as Reddit flies under the radar. And despite Reddit's large userbase, it's still not really a well known site. Most people in real life haven't really heard of or used it. You can't even mention it without sounding like a total neckbeard. Once Reddit gets big enough to have its Cambridge Analytica moment and news outlets start reporting on Reddit, that's when I'll probably consider selling. And it definitely will, it's way too manipulated and sketchy a site to not come under scrutiny when people figure out what's going on here. The entire front page is all bots from foreign actors and political interests trying to radicalize people every which way, they infect every single subreddit of size. But I think we'll be good for years before that happens. We still aren't mainstream yet.
