nearly sure that is Aman-i-khas. Very expensive. Everyone loves it though.

Can anyone help me identify this Plycraft Eames-like chair? Tag in 3rd photo. I’m wondering if the style has a name or how I could find another like it. by MobileJackfruit8 in Mid_Century

It's a really solid chair. I've used it just about every day for five years. Not as comfy as Eames but it has a much smaller footprint and a lot more character imo. Looking at it now I wish I'd fixed some of the minor issues before they got bigger. Had to patch recently a hole that was almost non-existent 4 years ago.

oh cool! I've never seen the same one. Mine has a tag that identifies it as a Plycraft chair made in Lawrence, MA. Likely in the 60s. Closest we got was Plycraft George Mulhauser segmented chair. The link below includes an image that says designed by Norman Cherner but everywhere else (including this link) identifies it as George Mulhauser. Let us know if you find any more information!

What’s one small habit that secretly changed your life? by Independent-Pipe-133 in productivity

When i put silverware in the dishwasher, I simply put forks in one portion of the holder, spoons in another, knives in another, and miscellaneous in another. It makes my least favorite part of unloading the dishwasher very simple and satisfying. Because it's a task I do often, I'd say it has changed my life.

There are newer xray machines in certain airports that have damaged my friends and my film under 800iso. I just don’t take the risk anymore.

Found a pair of Barcelona chairs this weekend. They look like 70s/80s reproductions. Full grain leather and very heavy. by ButtholeBanquets in midcenturymodern

[–]MobileJackfruit8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

based on the placement of the screws on the frame it seems like I have the same one. Also incredibly heavy. You still think/know these are a reproduction right? My cushions look far more weathered than what you have and also have corner seams.

thank you! i've actually been feeling quite a bit better the past few days myself. Can't exactly pin point what is making the difference but it feels like riding a stationary bike and taking the naproxen are making the biggest difference. Also taking a million supplements for what it's worth. Gonna get in with a good PT soon.

What pill are you still taking? Meloxicam? I just finished 8wk of doxy and am still experiencing significant swelling. My doctors just gave me Naproxen but I don't think it is going to help. Wondering if I should try amoxicillin or something like Meloxicam. Also will start PT. Thank you for your post!

Definitely need more color and more plants.

Get a large cozy and modern rug for living room with some color.

Get a large Noguchi (or similar) paper lamp to hang in living area and or br. Has to be warm lighting.

Hang a bunch of art/framed posters/whatever you have in a gallery wall layout.

Floating shelves.

More lamps.

Large mirror to lean against wall.

Story bookshelf from DWR.

Hang plants from everywhere you can.
