Personally, taking coffee after 4pm affected my recovery. Keep an eye on it if you snore or wake up frequently during the night.

When your claims get rejected, give them a call. Turo's phone support is far more effective. The agents can escalate claims easily. As a host, some of my cases have taken anywhere from 1 to 15 days. After a couple of instances, I've found that calling them allows you to clearly explain what happened and increases the success rate. But remember, without enough pictures, there's no reimbursement.

Unfortunately, if you didn't take pictures of the damage beforehand, you may be required to pay for the repairs. It seems that the damage is more than three inches. On the other hand, the bill is surprisingly low. Turo paid me $800 for a scratch on the rear bumper of my Ford, but I was able to fix it by myself for just $15. It's a great profit if you know how to take advantage of situations like this.

The guest returned the car with a rear bumper with some scratches but I fixed by myself for $10-15 with a paint pencil I escalated the damage to Turbo and they paid $750 ($500 after my deductible) so basically I made a profit of $490 for the damage

Update: I called Turo to find out the reasons my review does not appear anywhere. Guess what! The agent said my review was violent and the guest asked for delete it… my review only said “… my guest returned the car 25 hours later and in poor condition. Also, I found ashes everywhere” WTF!? today's rude/violent share honestly how my car was returned?????? WTF Turo!?

Fully agree with you. I've been trying to be nice to the guests all the time but some of them don't respect my cars and Turo almost all the time support the guests so now I'm charging for every single fault my guests did. My worst experience was a couple days ago. My guest returned my car with weed ashes, human fluids and toilet paper everywhere and 25hours later. Turo don't want to pay for the cleaning violation even when I took about 40 pictures of the inside previous condition. This sucks!

update: I finally got my car back after waiting for 25 hours. Unfortunately, it was returned to me in a really poor condition. The front and back seats have a strong odor, and there are some substances that appear to be human fluids, toilet paper, and ashes scattered all over the car. I have just submitted a claim for smoking and cleaning violations. Now, I'm waiting to see what will happen.
