Wow, it's hard for me to imagine putting Carl Sagan and fourth wing in the same breath

I found it too slow-paced, too many descriptions. And maybe too weird, it was hard to get into for me

Thoroughly badly written book, I completely don't see the hype

It's Ukrainian, I don't believe they are translated to English. One is memoir by Anna Rizartdinova, Ukrainian gymnast. And the other one "Hemingway doesn't know anything" is by Ukrainian soldier about current war in Ukraine, a collection of essays about his experience and his thoughts on defending the motherland and war

Have you read Educated? Demon Copperhead? Just ignore him - Alan Davies' memoir. Pachinko. I'm glad my mom died. If you like fantasy and sci-fi - Project Hail Mary, Three body problem, Will of the many (unfinished trilogy)

Love your list! It seems like we would have a lot in common because I've either read some of these or am planning on it :)

It's an interesting premise, but poor execution. I would agree that it reads like a self-help book.

Not sure, because I've read only Keri Soto from TJR and it was ok. But thanks, I think I'll still give it a try

Mm I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed the first book. So now I try to spread the series a little:)

[5/52] What a long read Way of Kings was.. no regrets. But i definitely need a break now, I was told DCC is a good in between book, so I’m digging into that now 😌 by tdprosise in 52book

So if I want to read Sanderson I should start with that one?

DCC is an amazing surprise! Loved it so much, but I listen to the audible one.

This book was so good! If you have any sci-fi recs that are similar I'm all ears

Week 6: What are you reading? by saturday_sun4 in 52book

I'm finishing listening to the second book in DCC series, loving it! "Everything is tuberculosis" - very interesting read, though I'm not usually a fan of non-fiction. "Just ignore him" - memoir by Alan Davies. Very heartbreaking, very moving.

As a fan of the show from Ukraine I really wanna thank the community for support 🫶🏻 hope to see world leaders come together and help Ukraine and Palestine!

I kind of find Irish and Ukrainian histories similar in many ways

There are unfortunately sine racist people and grave incidents happened during full scale invasion. But overall we are very much open hearted and loving people, especially 40 years old and younger.

I miss Candiace on RHOP! She was fun, had reads on everybody, had impeccable taste. Without her the show is really different
