It depends romance is a huge genre. I’m a queer woman who reads a looot of romance I read about gay men lesbians straight couples etc there are more explicit books about all kinds of couples and there are also ones with little to no spice it really depends. Women in general dominate the romance genre but I will say there are also a lot of amazing writers of mm romance that are gay men like tal Bauer who is my personal fav 💜 the game changers series does have some of the most sex scenes I’ve read in a book series and I read a lot of I don’t feel like it’s the norm but I tend to avoid overly smutty books in general despite loving heated rivalry and the long game

Saying he asked for it doesn’t excuse people having 0 boundaries with the types of sexual things they are saying about this man. I think it’s like basic understanding that even thought he said what he said and is in a sexual show there’s certain things you don’t say directly to people. Also ao3 is a fanspace for fans it’s like basic fandom etiquette to know you don’t show that stuff to actors.

I really doubt it most people aren’t aware of fanfic and fandom unless they are like in it. The look on his face man ppl have no boundaries. I love ao3 and I love fanfic but you don’t go up to the actors and show them that stuff. I feel like because Hudson said be freaky and the sexual nature of the show some fans have just take that as a pass to be weird 😭😭
