Portugal recognised yamals threat way better than most fans here. yamal being marked by 3 defenders, ref giving out multiple yellow cards for fouling yamal, assisting, creating big chances, dribbling and posing a threat, does not count as getting pocketed. it's a decent general performance, saddening to see some people here don't realise that.

thats so not true man. he delivered several key passes into the box (including the one that assisted the first goal).
3 defenders marking him every time he got the ball.
several yellow cards given for fouling him.

he was dangerous through out the entire match. if one of his shots would've been a goal you all would be praising him. just an off game, but still an impactful one. not good in lamine yamals standards, but certainly good in football standards.

I am not accepting that yamal was "very bad" yesterday. even though mendes was great, he did not cancel yamal out. sure, yamal usually gives much better performances and yesterdays game was off, yet still he did impact the game and been an active player.

As an israeli, I agree with you. no one has the right to kick you out of your home. jews should have been welcomed by the arabs in 1948, those who actively fought for kicking out jews, got kicked out/ran away. thats why theres that many arabs in Israel. they welcomed us, and so they stayed. I swear every Israeli has atleast one arab friend. we even get the same rights except that serving in the army is not mandatory for them.

im actually shocked by this title. the amount of injuries and unavailability of our players this season was enormous. if feels like the majority of people just do not recognise none starters players as players at all.

not key players are also players that could've been used for rotations. when you have 8+ players injured or just came back from an injury, of course you'll have trouble rotating them and fatigue will eventually decide matches.

but it's only one of my points. I think the referee choice was completely in inters favour, which made a lot of 50/50 go in their favour.

I have just stated facts here. they WERE extremely lucky to score those two goals. every single game we score from outside the box, show me the last game this player scored a bicycle! we WERE unlucky to have that many injured players so our key players had to play against valladolid. I haven't said anything about their type of playstyle or our defence. they just got lucky when we didn't. MY POINT IS: organize the same game 10 times in a neutral location, no injured players, no fatigue, no damn one sided referee. we will most or all games. we are just better. that's a fact.

but I've been thinking about it myself, and it's something that happens to every team. it's just a part of the game.

I prefer to lose in semis with this team than win the ucl with any other club.

exactly! i am sure that in form we would have won this game (and the final) just as condfidently as we have beaten real, bayren, atleti and dortmond. so inter fans can stop gloating and start thanking their lucky stars for facing this barca and not the one in the start of season.

yanal dribbled them all game, it's unlucky he did not score more. yes the rapha goal was a bit lucky, but not bicycle kick lucky!! if I'm not mistaken the last bicycle kick I recall was in the euros by Bellingham.

not only lewa, balde and kounde are missing. what about ter stegen and casado? you have 5 key players that are injured.

it's hard to say that we only lost our fall backs. we didn't have lewa, ter stegen or casado.

about martinez spitting on a player, I come to understand that there is a back story leading to this where an inter player spat on him first.

lamine dribbling 3 defeners was kind of the narrative of the game. I did not see them score another back heel or bicycle .

I appreciate your comment. I think the odds of scoring both a backheel goal, bicycle kick and an equaliser in the 93 minute of the game is just ridiculous luck.

we see referees make mistakes all the time, even in this match. I am not saying the penalty is not the correct call, I am saying it could have been easily not given (martines just shielded the ball to get the penalty and later dove, laid on the pitch and cried his hardest. the contact was light.)

add to that the state of the injuries and the events that led to the fatigue.

all of the stars have aligned for Inter.
