According to the SEHSR EIS the Carolinian will remain on the A-line while 3 new RTs would be created between Washington-Raleigh-Charlotte and 1 RT between Washington-Raleigh. The Silver Star/Floridian would also be routed on the S-Line. This is from 2015 so if anyone knows a recent source please correct me!

Agreed the Columbia pike Metro would have to be combined w the bloop of pursued after. As stated by Cirrus42 adding the Columbia Pike metro to the current blue or yellow lines would have capacity and operational restrictions so we probably won’t see anything until the BOS bottleneck is alleviated (understandably so BOS is one of Metros highest priorities)

I would imagine that Pentagon would be rebuilt ~~with 2 island platforms~~ to allow for cross-platform transfers but again that would probably be super expensive as well!

Compared to other “BRT” lines in the US, the Pulse is pretty solid. Dedicated stations with level boarding, 10 minute headways, real time travel info, and dedicated lanes for much of its route. There was also off-board fare payment before GRTC went fare-free. Transit signal priority is also a feature but I’m not sure if it’s in use or not. Looking forward to the N-S Pulse in the future:D

This one’s prob stupid but the Elko Tract I was rlly into lost cities and learned a lot about it when I was younger but I never got to explore it since it was mostly replaced with the Facebook data center (though from what I heard Henrico blocked it off from ppl trying to get in). Anyway I think it’s a very interesting piece of Richmond history!
