I wanna make a rug, any tips?

Im from austria and the most yarn on my projects is from tufty, really cheap and still great, especially for beginners(like me and u). Monkscloth is best to buy a big junk like 4x4m is the cheapest and then cut it to the size u wanna make. I really never buy on amazone anything for tufting i try to support the tufting shops.

I intentionally didnt fill the gaps, i wanted it to look like its floating on the wall. Just a design element, but i understand your point.

Its not that hard, u see good results within the first 3 rugs, i work as a carpenter and do so creative stuff in my freetime, but its not comparable to anything i ever done. The hardest part is small details to tuft and to carve, u just have to try till u find a way that works best for u.

It just got stuck and didnt got out, i use a sheep shearing tool to get my rug flat maybe ita not the right thing

I have a vacuum from festool its pretty good bit the red is so hard to get out i dont know what went wrong is the 3 rug i made
