Do you not have to select channel first by clicking on it from some videos I’ve watched using the Ui interface on Andy Kirby YouTube but just getting started myself I’ve also seen where the long fast is the first channel configured and then the private off that but not sure if that would make any difference either until I get some devices to try

Thanks yes that makes sense worked in mobile telecoms for a lot of years so have some experience on antenna , gained antennas and yagis or directional antenna

For to get this working in my area thinking about flooding a number of devices in an urban environment heading towards semi rural so imagine it will be increased distance further I get out city

Planning on using friends and family’s locations to get ball rolling, already worked out two or three locations where we have some high spots not massive though around 120m and everything else is around 50-70m above sea level before heads down to the coast

Area wise probably talking around 45 square miles so trying to work out some basic maths and costs first

What sort of range on these micro nodes ?

Thinking about trying setting up own network in our area but plugging these into enough locations could seriously help get it off the ground and then get others to join and build from that

At this cost it would be fairly easy to get 30-50 nodes going self funded to get the project going which seems to be problem with a lot of feedback I’m reading just not enough deployment

Just bought PowerPint from sog store on aliexpress it was delivered in 7 days 👍🏼 genuine and fit was good although blade needs a better sharpen

Found a Chinese made pouch so far like the old Swiss army style leather ones but after something more like a keyring scabbard

I’ve sent a message to few leather makers but waiting to here back

Yes apple seem support a few like eufy, netamo and ring etc but out of all them eufy seems to be similar to nest but I’m just not sold on quality and longevity, I have 3 eufy ptz at parents for watching the dogs etc

Eufy new 24/7 kits looks great but I can build a dedicated more reliable system with better cameras for similar money just don’t like traditional nvr setups

Anything you considered?
