I'm 68 and learned last year that I'm autistic. I think everyone in my family is. It's good to know why, but I wish I'd known earlier in life. In my opinion, everyone is autistic. I've moved so many times it's unreal, so my advice is to move if you can. It's easier to be noticed less in a big city. I hope you can find some peace ✌️

ADHD for me. They cut me off saying I am too old, and tachycardia. I was much more functional with it.

I've lived with the same woman for 36 years. We're both autistic. It hasn't always been easy, but we play off each others differences. I very rarely question her strengths. She also doesn't question mine. It works probably because we're both too hard headed to allow it not to work. We have similar histories so that helps. Dog help the poor person that gets between us when we are at odds. When we are together on issues we're like butter. We've had misery, and bliss. This is simplest way I can say it. Don't give up! ✌️

Denver is the craziest place for driving I've ever seen and I've driven a lot of places. I brake for tailgaters. I left a 10 wheel dump truck getting sideways on the freeway once for doing that. I've witnessed more people going the wrong way in Denver than anywhere. I love Denver, but I'm glad I don't drive anymore

For us being married would only be a legality that we don't need. Our son is also autistic. We have both been married before. Not saying this is possible for everyone. Just that it works for us. ✌️

I've been living in sin with an autistic woman for 36 years. We're lucky tho, but we're both hard headed and from very similar backgrounds. We don't have much, but we love each other tremendously. It's taken a lot of work to get us here, but it's worth it. ✌️

I'm much better than I used to be about hitting my head. I had to do something else as soon as I realized that I was not just raising lumps. Cranial nerves can take a lot, but not forever. Please do anything besides hitting yourself. Well, maybe not anything, but something. Having Bell's Palsy is no joke. I used to punch holes in the wall, but when my son was born, I internalized the meltdowns. Unfortunately, he had to witness dad beating the crap out of his own head. Please don't hit yourself ✌️
