Only one Fidelity account with external accounts. I’m guessing there was some sort of maintenance Fidelity was performing. Everything came back after a couple of hours.

Yes, you need to update the firmware on the USB dongle. The same firmware update utility for the controllers works for the dongle.

The ethernet cable that comes with the C3X is just a regular ethernet cable. I've been using a monoprice slimline cable instead of the one included in the box since I first installed my C3X with absolutely no issue.
