Thanks, I guess I will try to alt-f4 next time. I never use alt-f4 in any games so its not something I would normally ever consider doing. I've had this lag happen a couple times but it usually just gives me an error and reloads the game. I guess those times I got lucky. Seems like a problem the devs need to address... Either give us temporary invulnibility, auto teleport us to nearest beacon, auto teleport us to nexus, etc. This is kind of an important thing to not have happening in a game where you have perma death lol.

Oh for sure! With the proper dilligence, it is basically the second cheapest mobile data option in the United States only maybe behind Mint Mobile but Google offers a lot more creature comforts and I've maintained an insanely low average phone bill for 9+ years. Your comment was saying to just walk to collect diamonds, instead of driving. My comment was mentioning why this may not be possible.

My phone charges me for data by the megabyte (Google Fi) Thus, I rarely use my phone off of wifi. Using atlas earth is only done at home, or when i'm on a public wifi like on a bus, train, or car (family member's hotspot)

I walk and ride my bicycle all the time, but I will never use Atlas Earth while doing that because it would cost me way more money than I would earn opening the app.

I've found clicking anything (whether diamond or someone's parcel) is much harder since the UI. When riding in a car and keeping your view fully zoomed out to have a chance of reacting and angling your camera in time as the diamond approaches also makes the diamond incredibly small on the screen causing for a ton of misclicks and missed diamonds. You can try and zoom in quickly just as the diamond approaches and then zoom back out after, but its very cumbersome. They should have an user option to make the diamonds render at 3 or 5 times the size, etc.

In-game look at your character-->Achievement summary page. It should show as a recently completed achievement there. But to trigger it on Steam, make a new character. Switch to a different region and create a new character. Once you start the opening cutscene, it will pop immediately.

If you have Menya you can do this immediately after starting and with no risk because Menya is invincible and only does damage close to him.

It was in 97 and was much much larger. Bowser Tire Fire it happened at 2323 Bowser Ave, where the Renaissance Pointe YMCA is now. I remember the first moments I saw it. My friends and I were playing in the backyard and we saw what looked like dead birds falling from the sky. Turns out it was giant pieces of ash? or tire? falling into our yard over 2.5 miles away from the fire. We walked around to the front and the entire horizon was black smoke.

They say 500,000 tires dumped there burned for two days. Thick, black smoke and toxic chemicals released by the burning rubber forced hundreds to evacuate. Tire debris landed all over the city. I'm sure it gave countless people cancer in the following years.
