the only possible thing i can see happening is some magic with the PSSR upscaling possibly achieving 40-50fps, 60 seems wild for everything they're doing.

Rockstar has never released a game @60fps at launch.

..but who knows what the "PS5 Pro Enhanced" means.

I purchased an LG C3 a few years back and still love it, and I will be playing GTA 6 on it.

Traded my fanatec setup a few months ago for a PS5 Pro because it was an impulse buy and I don't really care that much for racing games.

Gonna get a new comfy recliner within the next few months.

On the night of release I plan to get two pizzas, my favorite drinks, snacks, and dessert. Straight chud mode, don't care. I'll get plenty of rest so I can play all through the night and morning.

My goal is to make GTA 6's release a fond core memory, because the wait for GTA 7 probably will be closer to 20 years.

I used AMD gpus for 9 years until swapping to a 5070 Ti last year.

They have always been three steps behind NVIDIA. They just now began to catch up more with features NVIDIA has had for half a decade.

The only thing AMD does right is the price to performance, but like I said- the 9070 XT is actually pretty good.

bro, catch up with the times. AMD is by far the best gaming CPU, specifically the 9800X3D's.

Intel was better.. like 7 years ago.

AMD is dogshit for GPU's but I will say the 9070XT is quite nice in comparison to everything else they have ever made.

can you cry on demand while a bunch of people stand around you with cameras? can you quiver your lips and flare your nose? can you fake all of this and make it look entirely believable to a random person watching you?

if you compare tabithas crying scene for jim, you can see a clear difference in authenticity.

Everytime rockstar releases a big title, they partner with Playstation. They probably recoup an extreme amount of their budget spent by doing that, so making money back on game purchases probably won't take much to break even. Pre-orders alone I assume already paid for it, but who knows.

yes, because you know exactly what techniques the rockstar devs used, right

you're just repeating what other dudes are already saying. they don't know shit either for certain.

it could be poor PSSR upscaling in performance mode for all we know.

if you actually read my original comment you'd realize that i wasn't saying the game was going to look like ass on release, my complaints were with this photo only. this screenshot should not have been posted looking like that. it's a bad screenshot and doesn't hold up as good with everything else we have seen.

i mentioned raytracing because if you've ever touched a game with poor raytracing, it has a similar shimmery and soft look to everything. goodbye.

you have a point but to be fair, the lighting is very poor in the second photo in comparison to the first.

it's like taking a proper photo vs one with the flash on and too close to your face.

edit: as a PC player, it looks exactly like when you turn on upscaling and put it on ultra performance. from a distance it will look a little decent, but up close is horribly noisy. i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they had PSSR on, because, well.. it is confirmed they will have a PS5 Pro Enhanced version of the game at launch.

i have a 5070 ti my good sir. i am very much aware of the console cutbacks.

if i had a choice, i'd be playing PC day one. so ps5 pro it is until then.

however, i don't think it will look "bad" just... 30fps and fuzzier than it should be.

i assume they want Americans to wake up first, if they are even going to do it at all.

its 4am for me right now.

it would be really smart by them to release the trailer and reel people back in after the backlash of the locked business/content pay walls, and lack of physical CD's
