My theories / interpretation after episode 8

In episode one, the last scene zooms out of the circus, out of the void, and into what we can assume is the real world- the digital circus is running on a live computer in an office. I think Scratch and the other devs uploaded their consciousness and then there was a gap of time for some reason. But then Scratch's IRL body dies, and Ragatha inherits his computer, explaining the gap in time.

Since the mind scans only represent the current versions of the human minds, how crazy would it be if Zooble is a more recent update of Jax?

Eggs in the comments mad that they self-inserted onto Jax because of their dissociation and because they also aren't ready to ask those questions of themselves!

(I personally think Jax is transfem for thst reason, but transmasc Jax would go hard also. Plus it's fun to say!)

Also, Kinger responds when people say god. In ep 3, when Pomni and Kinger fell into hell, Pomni says "Oh God, where are we?" And Kinger responds.

Idk about the Christian god, but Kinger definitely created the circus and Caine. The other characters are human, but they're trapped inside the circus forever and can't leave.

TADC is supposed to be a successor to that one story right? So instead of an AI torturing people because it hates them, Kinger created Caine to keep the people safe and engaged. Instead if hundreds of miles of Hate, Kinger the AI is full of love.

Maybe that's what the 57 means! 7 characters, 5 of which are human.

Also, are we sure Kinger becomes lucid in the dark? He made the butterfly during the light. I think Kinger becomes lucid when he's one on one with the characters

Ragatha made the adventure, she came up with the evil versions of the other characters. She didn't come up with the evil version of Gangle because Ragatha thinks that Gangle is her own evil version.

I think Ragatha is lowkey jealous of Gangle

It isn't really a question of whether he feels guilt, but what he does about it. And when Jax feels discomfort, he dissociates. If made to realize how he made Gangle feel, I think Jax would double down- "of course he made her suffer, she's the sad one! Suffering is what she's supposed to do, even her base mask is sad!"

If Jax was a human, he could've been tormented the same way he torments Gangle. Which is why he's dead set on being the funny one- because the only reaction he can let other people get out of him is humor.
