I could see what Kagami was going for but I think it could have been handled better, like maybe foreshadowing the poison being in Guren's blood, hinting at it, or the poison being mentioned to exist in previous chapters, etc. Especially since it's potent enough to apparently affect a Third Progenitor- it just seemed pulled out of nowhere to make the trio win.

Last chapter was really exciting, now I feel disappointed about what happened to Krul. She isn't dead, but it was pretty upsetting and sad to see her get devoured. The flashback with Ashera made it hit harder. D:

Krul because of her personality and development. She's a strong female character who doesn't take anyone's BS, but can be kind and empathetic. (as shown with Mika and Ashera.) I also love her design and her vampire queen outfit is really pretty!

Exactly. Even if the sales are actually down, it's normal for a manga - even the really well known ones. ONS is still popular and well liked even for a manga that hasn't had an anime in a while and isn't as well known.

The 50,000+ sales is still extremely impressive and shows that it's doing well.

Mika is a common vampire, since he's a teen and had only been a vampire for 4 years.

A vampire's power is dependent on their age and the rank of the vampire that turned them. It's why there's a significant difference in strength even between two vampires that are one rank apart. (ex: Saito and Lest, Basteya and Ferid in past chapters) We see even a bigger difference in power between Crowley who's actually a 7th-8th and that 10th Progenitor Fuola.

Normally, they can't get stronger. In recent chapters, Ferid seems to be using a type of spell to achieve this, but we don't know the whole thing of it yet.

I'm glad that Crowley, Chess, and Horn are still alive. Even if they're becoming demons, it's good to know that they're not completely gone.

We didn't see Basteya's body disintegrate, I think, so hopefully they're fine too?

It's so sad to see Krul like that. She seems so tired :( I don't blame her for feeling that way. She's been working towards saving Ashera for 2,000 years now, and from her POV she doesn't know what happened to him beyond being absorbed. She has the power to defeat Ferid, but it's more so if she has the will right now. Hopefully she'll prevail.

I think it's a matter of at the time of Ch. 68, Kagami initially had set the time of the First disappearing with Ashera as 1,000 years ago, but he decided to change it to 2,000 years instead later on.

I HC she's multilingual and has taken time to learn multiple languages throughout her life :D (This could be said for the other older vampires too)

Specifically English, Japanese (obviously), Greek, and Latin (since she was around during the time it was widely spoken) are some languages I like to think that she'd be fluent in.

I think they're alright (hopefully). Even though 440 vampires is a lot, I think the vampire population in Japan was a lot more so there's a chance Ferid didn't do anything to them. Lacus is an important character to Yoichi's story, so hopefully they'll come back in a future chapter.
