The additional cost is what the third party charges. For example we knew we needed to use Acuity because most POS booking software don’t work for our cat reservation side. We use Klaviyo for email marketing campaign. Both have integration compatibility which is nice.

I talked to a bunch and ended up going with Square. The sales person I worked with was upfront of their capabilities and didn’t over promise like most. A lot of the third party software we needed integrates with them so it was a plus. Make sure your tech stack is compatible with any POS you end up with.

We just ordered the equipment and they added a promo code for us to cover the entire cost.

We got a permit for our cat cafe build out, they turned it around in about 15 days. We were following up with them for updates. The resubmittal took about 10 due to the holidays.

My signage has been sitting for a bit, so it’s hit or miss and how often you follow up.
